One of Many Things....
She heads out before me on my work-from-home day and when I wake up, I find sweet love notes near the Keurig with my coffee mug and spoon waiting for me.

- His tuck ins, holding me close, safe & keeping monsters from under my bed.. - His expectations, rules & permissions..being His property..earning that each day.. - Always including me, sharing with me the goings on in His day, trusting me with knowing those He loves dearly, His children, His grandchildren, His friends, Mom & Our pup.. & trusting Him with those i love dearly in my life as well.. It all coming together, and having more family to know & love.. i feel blessed for that.. ♥ - Plans for this summer & then plans for Our future!! --- His love for me, period.. being His first stop, first thing in the morning, even before His coffee *smiles*, Sunshine songs He sings to me, Our moon connection, that wink He gives me when Our eyes meet, that pats on my ass when i walk by, pulling me on His lap, that look in His eye and the commitment around my neck.. Gratitude for the little things - but they're such wonderful, wonderful things.. Life is good, the girl is happy, and .... reading this thread, makes me smile, BIG ..i ♥ this thread! |

the pedicures she insists on giving me herself the stocking of my fridge, freezer, and pantry she always INSISTS on doing before she leaves...ensuring I have the "proper nutrition" to heal and maintain my body post Cancer! her loving and giving heart!!! those eyes.....when they are a liquid green... her devotion to always taking care of me..her butch!!! |
That even when I expect it the least like last night I still got the Goodnight Sir text to let Me know she is safe in bed.

the fact that He has blinders to what i feel are 'my' imperfections.. sees me as beautiful and makes me feel so every single day.. It's one thing to hear it, but another entirely to feel it, see it in His eyes & know that i am so cherished, adored and loved, every moment of every day..
the fact that We accept one another for who We are, do not pass judgements and love every little quirk, imperfection and know that We have a history, and respect those and embrace one another in all ways.. We don't try to change one another.. i love every scar, every story & part of who He is, the people in His life that love Him and He loves right back - because it's all shaped Him to the most amazing Being He is today.. definitely, blessed to be His, each day. & thankful my path led me to Him.♥ |
