I slept in today. I had a good breakfast. I'm going swimming later tonight.

I'm treating myself to a homemade coffee smoothie...

I worked less than 12 hours. yay me!

I showed up.

Seems my spirit is somewhat subdued or melancholy ... maybe bittersweet ... groping for words here.

Well, enough of touchy-feeley when I can't know how to describe it.

Forget people who don't like me (which makes no difference to me) ... in my case, I can be my own worst enemy sometimes.

it's the simple things...
 

Smooth, relaxing, yummy smelling body wash...
And baby powder....

Since I cant hike, I drove through the Quabbin to take in some nature....then I laid out and got some sun and read for a while when I got home....

I have been driving by this new shopping/dining area for a while and noticed the name..."Cuppenhaven"

So today I was going to treat myself to a gourmet cupcake of some kind. Well, when I trudged thru the construction traffic, and finally parked, it hadn't even moved in yet!

The more I think about it...I'm sure it's just going to end up being an expresso bar. Dang it, now I'm craving cupcakes of the designer kind!

I put myself first, for a change.

I stopped at several many tag sales on my way home from bringing my youngest to work.....

And I stopped and got myself sherbert and a doggie sundae for Jacques.... :)
