i like that Zane was voted off first, he jump started his game a big no no in my book. I would like to see "the leader" russell go next seriously.....not a fan of his. |
Im watching with a wary eye,russel needs to go imhp.Lisa I hope can stay an d have a decent chance.
|
I'm concerned for Lisa as well - that banker woman really decided at minute one that she didnt like or trust Lisa ("the older lady") and Lisa, who is normally a very personable and funny woman has sort of distanced herself from the tribe. She did *really* well in the challenge and I hope people notice and remember tat, but I think the first time her tribe loses, she might be gone unless she does something to show them that the Brazilian woman is their weak link in challenges and around camp.
I LOVE that Mike was one of the returning players - I, too, hope he and Lisa go far. That Zane strategy was one of the dumbest things I have see on Survivor in a long time - and the fact that he thought that would work? Wow lol. There are 2 people on his tribe who I liked, but I am not good with the names right now - one was the therapist woman and the other was the guy with the long hair that she hangs with - I'd love to see them go far. The 3 tribe thing: I have to wonder if they are going to keep it for very long .... when they did the female vs. male thing with them all living on the same beach, that only lasted a few tribals; so I am wondering if, after the next tribal when the numbers are even (16), they might tell everyone to drop their buffs at the beginning of the next episode (ep3) and then mix them all up into 2 tribes. Or maybe they will wait 3 more tribals - when there are 14 people .... I think if Lisa's team can win another challenge and if the 3 tribes merge into 2, then she might have a shot at staying at least as long as the merge - but as it stands right now, she might be the first of that tribe to go and that would suck. :( Regardless - should be fun to watch this season. :) |
since this week was primarily focused on the tribe that lost last week as well as this week,.....I was glad to see Roxy get voted out i wasn't really a fan of hers after this episode, i like Angie and Malcolm and i like Lisa so i hope she continues to grow and find herself on this show.

KCCI, what were you thinking?!
Our local CBS affiliate saw fit to air a debate between Leonard Boswell and Tom Latham (Iowa congressional race). Survivor was aired at 2:07 am this morning (after all the late shows and two infomercials).
Russell provided what may be one of the most iconic speeches of Survivor-right up there and maybe surpassing Susan Hawk's rats and snakes dying of thirst in the desert speech. While everyone listened in disbelief, he said something along the lines of "God made me perfect so I'm not supposed to fail." He just did not understand why everything sucked so much for him. And the tiniest tribe in Survivor history became even tinier. Would be funny if they didn't absorb them into the other tribes and they dominated and made it to the merge as a two man team. I mean, can they have the other teams sit out four guys for challenges? |
lol that would be funny, did you see how the women snarled at that bs...?
Im hoping for the 2 that are left remaining on that tribe....I am pulling for them for sure. I think that the 2 left will be absorbed into the other tribes next week. |
kids these days
That kid calling Lisa "the Church Lady" and "sweet little old Lisa". Sheesh.
Gaea was right, the tiny two person tribe was absorbed into the other two tribes last week. This week we got the merge. |
Quote:
She was then absorbed into the other tribe, so there was no real merge that season - and I think that was the only season without an actual merge. I really like Lisa, Denise, and Malcolm - I know he called Lisa the "church lady" (which made me think of Dana Carvey on SNL and I lol'd) and more then one of them has called her "old" - but I still rally like those 3 and would be so happy to see them make it to the final with Denise or Lisa winning at the end. :) |

Who got voted off? |

Man, Probst called it last night when he said that last night's tribal vote may go down in Survivor history as one of the biggest lost opportunities. Man, that was dumb.
I mean, dont get me wrong - I didnt exactly like Jeff - he'd been becoming increasingly hostile for absolutely no reason, except that he didnt want a returning player to win. That was it - his whole reason for acting like more and more of an ass each week. It was weird to watch and made me wonder if there were a lot more things going on that they were leaving off the episodes or what. But for Penner to talk all of those people into voting for Pete but then he turns around and votes for Abi instead? Wtf was that?? I know that Scupin also messed it up by voting for Jeff, but if Penner has stayed the course, there would have been a tie and they might have been able to get rid of Pete. Speaking of Pete - what a horrible idea it was for Lisa to trust him with the info about Malcolm having an idol and her plan to blind-side him. I mean, she really had no choice because she had to talk to them to get them to vote for Malcolm (I like Lisa, but I'm glad it didnt work!), but Pete - he just ran right to Malcolm and then believed him when he said he didnt have the idol. So yeah, last night was crazy and the tribal council was freaking awesome because so many people tried to throw others under the buss, secrets were brought out into the open, idols revealed, etc - it was a great tribal council. lol Ok, enough venting - next week looks like Lisa might *finally* step away from the jerks of her original tribe and alliance and go with another alliance - this time, I hope she keeps a few more things closer to her chest (or vest, which ever you prefer lol)! |
I liked Lisa when I was little and she was Blair. She has really not been in my radar much on this game.
But, something about her this last episode really rubbed me the wrong way. I think it was telling the secret about Malcolm's idol---and only because she found it in the way that she did. Maybe I do not want to think that she is devious? I am, and have been rooting for Denise. I really like Jeff but he is gone so now Denise has my full support. :sparklyheart: |
Finally got caught up with On Demand.
My fav is Denise. That girl is kick azz. Tough is an understatement. She has suffered so much with no food, always on the loosing side. I was so happy to see her eating those ribs!!!! I feel she is genuine and i definitely have a Team Denise shirt on (figuratively) My second pic would be tied with Lisa and Malcolm. Although, i agree with LaneyDoll, Lisa's actions by revealing Malcolm's idol, pissed me off a little. All i can say is bless all of them. I wouldn't survive 2 hours at a place like that especially with no chocolate or sunscreen!!!! Speaking of surviving....would be fun for all of us to have a comp like that. Maybe we can talk Medusa into organizing one!!!!! I'll take pictures. That will be my involvement. |
I am so happy that Denise won - she was my 2nd favorite player behind Lisa from day one. I also think this was the first season of Survivor when my 4 favorite players made it to the final four and I would have been happy if any one of those four had won.
It was also really cool to see my girl, Lisa win the player of the game $100K :) Good season - and next season should be a good one as well since it is another fans vs. favorites and if you can believe the pics they flashed on the screen, Coach, (bad) Russell, and Rupert will be among the faves playing. |
....
Ditto Parker.
I just finished it ....devo. These two ladies were great,very different but great. |
This was by far my favorite season of Survivor. I'm so glad that Denise won! She really did play an excellent game. I liked Malcolm too but in the end she outwitted and outlasted him. I was also rooting for Lisa. I enjoyed watching her inner battle and that she found resolution and peace within herself in the end. I liked that she allowed herself to play the game. I also liked it when Denise said she wouldn't apologize for being up there in the final three. Great season!!!! I'm uncertain about next season, I like to see new faces and the 'favorites' thing is getting old to me. But... I'll watch anyway!
~~~shark~~~~~~~ |
Glad that Denise won also. Surprised that Abi went that far! Denise was a gamer. Malcolm was a threat due to his excelling at most challenges. I liked Lisa too. Glad she won some money. Survivor used to give away cars, but, haven't in a long time??
|
Next wednesday new season.....Fans vs Favorites. He's backkkkkk.....
Brandon Hantz! and remember nerdy, Cochran? and Phillip! lol Oh and Malcolm is back too.. Hoping gaea comes and helps me update this and get it going. Survivors ready and GO! |
Oh god, Phillip -- every time I see a commercial showing him, I cringe lol -- I hope he leaves his tighty-pinkies at home this time!
A preview
Here is a cast preview along with a link to the cast member pages
http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ps10c0baa5.jpg Im not sure how i feel about the returnees lmao.....this is gonna be a good one perhaps... Cast Bio http://www.cbs.com/shows/survivor/season/26/cast/ the frst 8 returnees.....um well i think im just gonna have to root for a "fan" and not a favorite. It should be an interesting mix up with the returnees (fav's) my personal all time favorite is Rupert they should have brought him back :) |
So, it isnt that I have no interest in Survivor this season - I am actually enjoying it - but I have no real vested interest in who wins or who gets voted off.
I am sure that will change right around the merge when the numbers are whittled down to a number my addled brain can manage, lol, that's what usually happens during seasons when I feel like this. Of course, I was bummed to see Francesca get voted off -first- for the second time. I liked her more this time than last time, so to see her get screwed like that for a second time was not cool. Also, while I am not rooting for anyone just yet, I did find myself hoping the fans would pull out a win tonight - they have only won, what, once, and since that have done nothing but vote people out, lose rewards, and even lose a player to an injury .... I felt bad for them and wanted to see them pull out an immunity win just so the underdogs could have a night off! :winky: |
I realized last night I'm quite bored with this season I can't seem to adore anyone of the tribe folks...
my big question I'm sure they had more than 8 applicants so why bring back 8 old timers seriously I want to see new folks playing this game. I do like Sherri probably because she reminds me of Sandra Bullock. The challenges are great and all however I think they focus too much on the favs and well I'm just not a fan of the favs. thoughts ? |
I think they are using the term "favs" a bit too loosely - I dont remember half of those people!
I dont have a favorite player(s) right now - none of them have really stuck a chord with me this season, at least not yet. I'll tell you what though - it's exhausting watching Brandon bounce back and forth from wanting to sabotage the camp to being all nice and apologetic..... |
From what I saw on the previue of next weeks show Brandon is going to have a pissy fit wich may well cost him big time.I mean it looked like he poured out the store of rice they had then called someone a bitch...not good if you are wanting to get brownie points with your tribe,he is to much of a loose cannon in my book.
As for Shamar,they have wanted him out for a while so him getteing out over med issues wont do any harm just cost the team some physical strength in chalenges but now in work at camp cause he didnt do much. |
Wow ... that shit was crazy.
Brandon was completely unstable, going on about quitting at night and the next morning saying he was all good and going to try to win, then flipping out on Phillip, then immediately apologizing to him and then getting so crazy, he dumps out all of the food ...... I liked how they had tribal right there with both tribes before even getting to the challenge - Brandon seriously needed to go - anyone that unstable needs to be off of TV and into therapy to work that shit out. But dont think I didnt notice how Phillip lied when he said he tried to be nice to Brandon, gave him the benefit of the doubt, never said a bad word or had a bad thought about him .... complete bullshit. |
...
What happened to the christian brandon from previous survivor?
When he cried about struggling with the honesty/dishonesty part of the game. Now he,s unstable angry maniac. he was looking like a "reality show attention ho!" hoping to get asked back by being controversial. Bye Bye Brandon! |
I agree,don't think the tribe is blind to Phillip two timeing ways,he is on a short road to being voted off soon I think. |
I had an opportunity to watch the show today and well all I could think was he wanted to go home and had no idea how to just quit so he had a tantrum and then quit.
Brandon is controlling , manipulative and abusive period all his actions in the show are strong indicators of abusive behavioral issues. I'm glad he is gone. The show this season lacks so much and my interest is waning quickly. |
Quote:
I am hoping this tribe doesnt do that and gets rid of him and his stealth-r-us craziness soon! :winky: |
Really liking how they mixed up the tribes tonight as I was growing rather bored with the favorites dominating. In any case Philips little plan to get rid of Julia shocked him when it didn't work, did he really believe somehow he was in charge ?!? odd just odd.
So my daughter endured the program with me so I'm watching American Idol with her and tonight is Beatles night and The Beatles are my daughters favorite band of all time I should mention I love how my kids are all well rounded with music. I don't think I'll last the two hour show though. lol |
To bad about Brandon.
I think many of them were planning on taking him to the end with them for a cool million |
Once again, last night was just sort of ... eh. It was interesting to see the tribes mixed up like that, but it's still pretty much the same old same old.
I have as much of a hard time watching Phillip this time as I did the last time he was on ... he is so fucking irritating with his speeches and his stealth-r-us and his ultimatums. He thinks he is in charge and thinks he is a badass but he is just a dumbass trying to convince people he knows what he is talking about! I do like to see that Malcolm is playing a little smarter this time - he isnt trusting anyone with his idol, isnt trusting anyone at all, really. I still think people will see that he is too nice of a guy to take to the end, but at least he isnt as gullible about it this time as he was last time. |
I can hardly wait until Philip gets voted off! I'm thinking that Malcolm has this in the bag. He's playing it very smart this time, sort of under the radar.
|
Waiting for them to waylay Phillip is the only reason I watch the show this time,sofar it hasnt been the beast season they have had.I figure after somany shows how many ways can that fix chalenges to make them diffrent,they have gone a long way from the begining when they were eating bugs/spiders and such also it isnt a walk over but way easyer that before.
|
really kinda finding myself bored with this season...glad Brandon went home, he was a few bricks short of a sidewalk and needed to have his head smacked back for wasting everyones food...you wanna waste yours, that's fine...go ahead...but you ain't wastin my food when all I am gettin is rations of beans and rice...I think me and him would have had to had a meetin out behind the woodshed....hahahahahahaha
|
Oh god, tonight's tribal council was so fucking awesome, I almost pee'd.
I think it was better then when Parvati gave 2 immunity idols in a heroes/villains tribal council AND even better then when Eric gave away his immunity necklace in Micronesia. lol Of course, part of that is because Phillip got his ass handed to him, which would have made any tribal council awesome - but all of the panicking and whispering when Malcolm gave his 2nd hidden immunity idol to Eddie and the alliance of 7 knew they were going to lose someone was just priceless. :) |
Quote:
Parker,I have waithed for this to happen for the last couple of tribal councils,it went of like a hugh shock amchine..KAPOWWWWWW!!!!! Phillip didnt know what hit him to the point he was speachless.One cool move buy everyone. When The winning team in the chalenge went to the award prize I near puked when Phillip got in the pool as nasty dirty as he was then made a mess of the water,he shure showed his lack of class...glad he is gone. |
It finally happened.
Now I can start enjoying the remainder of the season |
Add to that all the bullshit he's been spewing with his Stealth-R-Us crap, trying to be like Boston Rob when he isnt even close; not to mention how clueless he is about his own personality - he honestly believes he was not a bully or a drill instructor and was just playing like Boston Rob. I am so glad he is gone! |
I often wonder HOW Phillip ever got into special agent training,They must have needed help real bad or someone pulled strings to get him in.
Yeah,what he did in the pool was really didrespectful of the people who run the resort,cleaning a pool that sise will be costly.Contestants like him could cause ill will for the crew of the show,heck I would be verrrrry cautious haveing anyone back on my property that did such a nasty thing.Now we can watch the show without his moldy presence. |
