After a totally unnecessary stressful week, I am so thankful to have a beautiful Sunday to kick back and do what I want. We are going out to "The Shack" to celebrate my aunts birthday then coming back home and settling in for a long afternoon of Netflix shows.

I must say that this last week was so much better than the one before. I have been using my CPTG essential oils and they have done wonders for me. Working with my business partner to prepare for our first "Groove Fest" festival next month. I am really exited about this adventure. The overall experience has improved my physical, mental and spiritual health beyond my imagination.
Today is going to be a nice, slow and laid back Sunday. The only thing we have to do is a little shopping for the work week. Otherwise I am going to kick back an enjoy this beautiful day.

Reading the newspaper. Meredith Vierra and a curmudgeon who objects the the neighbor boy's lemonade stand are all I remember.

Chatting with my mother about my new (to me) mobile home. (It needs paint and some repairs, so I won't move in for a couple of weeks.) We were discussing fun stuff like where to put the furniture and what to plant in the planter out front.

Then back to bed to stretch my sore back out before I get up and grade papers all afternoon.

Well let's see... went shopping, got stuff I forgot yesterday. Getting ready to make my fabulous famous omelet ... with bacon sausage ham cheese onion bell pepper mushrooms. Jumbo eggs... croissant on side.

This last week has been fun and wild. Glad to have a long Sunday to relax and tomorrow to get ready for the week. Planning on doing a little grilling or watching Red do a little grilling :-). Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend.

I bought a McMuffin and iced coffee on the way to the walk-in clinic to deal with an ear infection. The new insurance is good though. And I am now full of antibiotics and ear drops and in bed watching White Collar on Netflix. AND it's a three-day weekend. Could be worse.

Besides having a ton of homework to do, this is the first Sunday I can remember in recent history where I didn't have somewhere to be! I'm enjoying my first cup of coffee, watching So You Think You Can Dance (via DVR), and catching up on the latest posts on BFP :)

No creamer is like the end of the world for me! I feel your pain!!

I was sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee this morning enjoying the cool breeze and overcast skies when I decided the weather was perfect for a cruise on my motorcycle. I finished my coffee and went inside to get ready to go when my phone rang...it was a buddy of mine that had the same thought about riding that I did. A couple of phone calls later, four of us met up and went cruising for a couple of hours, then we stopped for breakfast before parting ways. Wish I could do this every Sunday!

After a very nice day of rain we so needed. The sun is shining and the flowers are blooming nicely in the back garden. Stayed up really late finishing up a series we had been watching on Netflix.
Busy working on getting ready for my first Groovefest! I am more than excited about the opportunities this is going to bring to my business.
Red and I are have no plans today other than a few things to get ready for the work week.

good morning and happy sunday...everyone in my world has strep or is recovering from strep...so coffee and english muffins this morning and a slumber party in the living room today...complete with pillows, blankets, movies and soup for the sickie :)

I tried a new recipe for egg clouds...omg yummy!

We skipped Church, and we are having a lazy day in our jammies.

Later i have to go to the grocery store, but that's all the work i feel like doing on this lazy Sunday. :hangloose:

Got home from my 24 shift at the ole fire station..... Got a latte and sat in the recliner and sipped and read Sunday newspaper...

Now heading out for a short Harley ride on this warm sunny day!

I ran into a good friend on the beach this morning and we ended up hanging out talking for a couple of hours because I'm moving soon. It's tough to say these goodbyes.

We ended up wanting to talk longer so she treated me to a wonderful brunch at an outdoor garden tea shop that had fantastic quiche and veg pate`. I will miss her... There are some amazing people here.

I spent the entire day preparing for the Groovefest on the 28th of this month. My business partner and I are ready to rock! Red spent the day lounging with the pups and reading all of her favorite magazines. Nice cool weather. Ready for the Fall.

Busy does not describe how this Sunday has been. It's down to the wire for the Groovefest and are finally ready to roll everything out. I so wanted a rainy weekend with nothing to do but finishing everything for the festival was what needed to be done.

I woke up early, so we had poached eggs, bacon and toast before leaving for Church.

Lunch out with friends after church, and a lazy afternoon dozing on the couch.

Groovefest was a huge success! Our Sunday was anything but laid back but it was fun! Hoping everyone had a great Sunday!

Fall is officially here, well at least late at night. As always if you want the weather in Oklahoma to change just hang around a bit. Lot's going on for the fall around our house. We are the odd couple that does spring cleaning in the fall. Floors done, cabinets in the kitchen done, winter clothes out, summer clothes sort of put up. Winterizing for the home started. We enjoyed getting up early and making a dent, cooked a nice breakfast and enjoyed some us time.

I did read the sunday paper...without a latte.

No hot liquids till i get my permanent crown put on.... dentist says...hot liquids will soften cement and temp crown will fall off!... damn it!
