Are you talking about the little key words down at the bottom of a photo, Strap?

A tag is like there being a picture of a dog eyeballing a steak and someone tagged it or "labeled" it "hungry puppy".

If you searched for "hungry puppy" then that photo would come up and so would any other photo tagged as "hungry puppy".

In my own photos, I like to tag the people in them (unless it's June!) so that when you search for all pictures of Strappie, the photos in my gallery with Strappies name come up and not just Strappie's photos in Strappie's gallery.

Make sense at all?

Is it my old eyes or has the font become smaller?

We haven't changed the font size. However, you may have inadvertently caused the browser to make the font smaller. Depending on the browser there is likely a setting under "View" or something similar on the browser itself to Zoom in.

You cannot upload a photo. However you can link to one stored somewhere else. So if you post it in your Flickr or some other image hosting location you can upload it to there and link to it in your signature.

When you link it using the IMG tags (that's the icon with the mountains and moon in it), your URL/address should end with .gif or .jpg.

So should look like this:

And it will then be in the body of the text/signature.

My signature line is not showing up beneath my posts...why?

I have checked/rechecked it repeatedly...and it seems to work fine...until I post on a thread, and then---my sig line is a no-show.

Yep...my sig line is still a no show beneath any of my posts.

I did a check and you have your settings set to not display signatures of anyone on any posts. That's why you don't see it. You need to change your settings to allow that. Go to User CP and then find "Edit Options". Look for the following:

Make sure there is a checkbox beside "Show Signatures".

I'm trying to post some vacation pics in the gallery and it tells me they have uploaded successfully....but then they don't appear and it says "no images."

I tried uploaded them in an album, and also as a single pic, but no luck.

Snack tried too, with the same result.

Did I break the gallery? :blink:

They are probably too big- try resizing and uploading again!

ooppss...hope I didn't do anything wrong by 'intruding' this thread. Sorry if I did. Just wanted to help.

Nothing wrong with what you said. Sometimes, however, error messages can tell us more than just by-passing them. If we know the cause, we can prevent it from happening again.

I find that if I try to enter chat from the first page, it won't load; however, if I go to the User CP page or the New Posts page there is no problem entering chat.

Weird but it works.
