Another trip to the ER for R
Thankfully Starbuck was here with her I met them at ER because I was coming home from work We're both very tired and I'll update you in the morning Please keep that ever loving circle of prayers going |

Here's my update on R
Got a call from her on my way home from work, she was quite ill She'd been heaving, which I'm told happens to some chemo patients Her pain was so bad, she was squirming trying to ease it At the ER, she got 2 bags of IV fluids, they drew blood and when her labs came back, everything was okay with the exception of a high white blood cell count. She's been giving herself white count stimulation shots which helped her go from a low count last Thursday to a high count yesterday. She's happy she doesn't have to give herself anymore shots for now. Superlady decided she was well enough to drive to Tulsa today for church, so she's off and running. Keep the prayers coming I'm keeping my faith and hope while continuing my prayers for her and those here I know need this magical, mystical power we have formed in our prayer circle of hope, faith and love. |
I had my many devotional candles blessed, and I got more incense to burn. That was also blessed. Today I am lighting and burning my prayer candles and incense for Moonie. He is struggling with the loss of his brother. I can feel his pain in my bones. It was the same pain I felt when I lost my sister, JoAnn, and younger brother, Jay. Thank you all. Peace. |

My devotional candles are burning and my incense as well. I have had one special candle burning for well over 24 hours for Rosie's father who died years ago. It is a custom in the Jewish faith to burn a while candle on the anniversary of their death. I do it because of my belief system as well. I am also burning candles and incense for myself. Lately I feel like a doormat. So many people have made me promises, and when it is time for them to come thru I hear every excuse under the sun for them not following thru with what they promised to do for me. This has happened to me thru-out my life. It is something that I am just used too. I am not sad, not happy, just used too. |
I've always burn candles. But today I will burn them to send love and peace to a certain friend who needs healing within her heart. She is very special to me.

:candle::candle: I light a candle for my sister, Dolores, who has cancer. She, the Matriarch of the family, is determined to come to the states from Switzerland, where she currently lives, on February 11th. I just spoke to her ... it seems that the brain metastasis may be pressing on her optic nerve and causing visual disturbances. Dolo is also disoriented as to time, which may be a function of her narcotic pain meds and/or brain metastasis. Her voice is very weak today.My candle is lit today, and my prayers spoken, in the hope that she can make her journey here. For her sake. Because she wants to. Because she has the determination of a strong, willful woman. I chant and I cheer her on ... :candle::candle: |
For today, my candles and incense are burning for the deceased, the homeless, the poor, the needy, the sick, the dying, the hopeless, people who have to rely on other people for help in daily tasks, and animals. I also have a candle lit for myself. I wish you all peace. |
