If she had a better internship site, could you get hers?

I don't know she said it was kinda of ghetto and I really don't want that but the doctor was Jewish a dr. Katz and that's a Jewish name and I really don't know where the place is/was. I'm just going to talk the school tomorrow and see what they say:seeingstars:

Okay kitchen friends...big request here...

I just got an email from the realtor saying the bank just did their appraisal, which means the paperwork is now finally on the correct desk and moving forward...so I could use all your good energy, prayers, white light...whatever ya got! :rrose: We're hoping to get approval of our offer and a successful closing, so I can get moved down to my sweetie. :cheesy:

Hope you've all had a wonderful Sunday. My mother called this morning and wanted to take me to lunch...so we hit the salad bar at Ruby Tuesday's, did some shopping, then finished hauling wood out of my basement and up to the curb (that's how I recycle :) ). Time to sit and relax a little now.

:lips: baby :stillheart:

good luck to ya. sendin a prayer for ya.

Good morning everyone :) Looks like I'm the first one in today...

:chef2: How about if we start everyone off with a little fresh-squeezed orange juice...and, of course, the coffee is on and the kettle just boiling for those who prefer tea. :bringcoffee:

Breakfast this morning is fresh blueberry pancakes (or plain pancakes for those that prefer that....heck I can throw in banana slices if anyone prefers that too...I'm flexible like that). Also eggs cooked to order, and patty sausage....

There would be more but I have a moving company sales rep coming to give me another quote this morning.

Hope everyone has a great day!

:lips: baby...hope the meeting goes alright. :stillheart: I love you.

Zimmeh 07-13-2010 07:35 AM

Good Morning Jo Jo,

Thank you for breakfast! Me and several ppl from the other site, are planning a get together for the middle of August in case you can't make the one in July. We are going to hold it in Orlando, which is the halfway point for us on the East Coast and the ppl on the West Coast.

Hope you have a good day, and the moving ppl don't try to take you for a ride,

Zimmy

Good Morning Jo and Zimmy!! Pancakes sound yummy I'll take mine with blueberries and bananas!! Just had an egg hard boiled as a snack that's all. Still hungry though. So you have to get a quote for moving stuff long distance didn't know that. Huh should look into that soon. I only have about 11 weeks then I want to be out of here too before winter sets in. I have one class today but think I'm not going allergies got the best of me this morning feeling lousy ever since. Took some allegra that helped but very tired. Need to speak to the school about the internship and all...UGH see you guys later.

lipstixgal 07-13-2010 09:12 AM

Well just got off the phone from the school and Ms. Gloster said that the first couple of weeks is paperwork she said that you have to know the front office first before you cold learn the back office. Ugh well I'm going in at 10 am tomorrow not feeling well and need the sleep!! Just staying until 3 pm if that is the case, they can go kiss my white ass!! So I guess that I am stuck with that office :blink:

Anyway, it rained here today so sad :( don't like rain one bit want sun and warmth, need it for my artificial knee it pains me when it rains!!

lipstixgal 07-14-2010 05:26 AM

Good Morning Kitcheneers!! What should we have for breakfast?

How about some steak and eggs cooked to order, hash browns, turkey bacon, moringstar sausage and all the fixins for breakfast.

Strong tea and coffee:bringcoffee: for those who need it. Well no internship for me today car has to have a new brake switch put in whenever I get it there HeHe!! Gotta call em though:hamactor: and let them know I won't be in today or Friday its our phlebotomy exam!!

RockOn 07-14-2010 05:44 AM

Good morning, lipstixgal,

Breakfast sounds wonderful - especially the steak and eggs! I certainly could use a cup of that strong coffee too.

*grabs some coffee and starts helping lipstix with the meal preparation*

Yum! I am starving this morning - only had a home made milkshake and cornflakes for dinner last night. I think I could eat two steaks and half a dozen eggs for starters. LOL!

lipstixgal, I will remind you to put in that call about your car around 8:00 - they should be open by then. For your safety, you need to get that repaired.

Happy Wednesday! :)
Brock

:bringcoffee: Good morning everyone :)

I brought my big cup for coffee this morning...and steak and eggs sounds wonderful. I'll add some fresh pineapple (cut into one of those cute little pineapple boats with oars that my son loves), and red seedless grapes as well.

Looks like it's going to rain today...sky is grey and it's quite a bit cooler. I won't mind a bit, except that once again I probably should have mowed this weekend. :giggle: Seems to be my usual pattern!

I've been working away on the house stuff...sorting out things I want to take with me from the things I really don't need and would rather not pay to move. I've gotten rid of sooooooo much stuff it's unreal.

Lips, if you're planning on a big out-of-state move, I'd recommend calling movers now. They'll come do a walk through of your house and give you a detailed estimate for free. I'd also recommend looking at the big name, reputable companies....in my research I came across an absolute ton of horror stories with people getting ripped off. I'd rather pay a little more and actually get my stuff there. The advantage of getting the estimates also is that it can help you decide whether you want to do some pruning of stuff (like I am) or not. For example, I am a big reader and literally had 6 bookcases, each 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide, stuffed with books. That costs a TON to move, because books are heavy. I decided to donate my books to a library in a poor part of town...they'll put some in circulation and sell others at their annual book sale to raise money. With the money I save from moving them, I'll get a kindle...and have less to dust. :cheesy:

Alright everyone...I better get to work. Hope you all have a great day! :byebye:

:lips: to you baby.... :love1:

Good Morning Jo Jo,

If you have an iPhone, they have an app now called iBooks that allows you to take the books with you, but without an additional device.

When I moved to Seattle, I donated clothes, shoes and purses to a church missionary and gave the rest of my stuff away. One of my old employees at the bookstore, got my tv and dvd player.

HOpe you are having a good day,

Zimmy

Good Morning Everyone,

I am finalizing my plans to take the kids to the movies tomorrow and then to St. Augustine on Friday. I am loving my iPhone, I just found an app for St. Augustine through iTunes. No maps to carry, I have everything I need on my phone.

My mom called this morning and she found a bed for me. Woohoo, no more sleeping on a air mattress...

Have a good day,

Zimmy
