Rest day! Those two fence installs were rough on my body. Pinched my fingers blue rolling out the roll of heavy duty wire. And that come along sucked big time when I had to use a spotlight after it became dark outside.
Calling around for best prices on a brake job for my truck. Hoping rotors are resurfacable. But then, buying brand new ones at something like AUTOZONE is really pretty good too. I have always been a screaming nightmare on brakes. I am surprised these have lasted this long! Feels wonderful to kick back, relax and chill! Dogs are on the bed snoozing beside me. I am totally content. :) |
Totally rested now and want to go outside and build something ... but it is supposed to be pouring down rain all day with thunderstorms. I can hear the thunder now.
*suffering from pouty stone butch syndrome now* Guess I will do some housework, the bathrooms are already cleaned ... make a stew, yes, great idea ... enough for all week including breakfast! BTW ... Don't forget to "spring forward" ... the daylight savings time deal started today. :) YAY, more daylight after I get home from work. The pups will love it. |

Today is my grandmothers birthday. She would have been 108 years old. She was the most important person in my life. Every year, on her birthday, to honor her memory, I go out for her favorite meal. Put a plate of shrimp chow mein in front of her, and she lit up like a child at Xmas. So today is chinese food and sifting thru memories day. Happy Bday Gram. |
