It's been raining large amounts of rain here and a lot of places in Texas causing severe flooding in areas like Houston and Wimberly Texas just to name a few. there are many towns flooding all over Texas. The rains have been torrential and long standing causing high winds and tornadoes.
I feel for the people that were in the floods, I wish them a fast recovery and the best of strength to endure what they are going through. |

Beautiful day Tuesday bout 85 degrees. Great day for a mountain day trip! I set a land speed record on the way home trying to beat an ugly storm coming out of the south.

We have had strange weather lately. Today was like a gorgeous late summer day -- almost 75 degrees or so. But the other day we had rainfall like we usually have at the beginning of June. The next few days it will be over 90 degrees and it's never like that in June. : (
I miss the pearly clouds that keep us more temperate, with scattered days of sunshine. |

Right now, night time skies are booming with thunder and dry lightening.
Scary stuff. It has been and will be hot for days, until late next week. Low tonight: near 60 degrees. High tomorrow: 100 degrees. Today's high was near 89, but it was a dry heat with little to no humidity (thank heavens). Hopefully, rain will come soon. |

Last night, the world crashed down. It was quite beautiful. Lightning and thunderstorms and a few bouts of really hard but short rain.
One of my other stores in the area was struck by lightning. Not fun for that manager at all. Today it's bright and beautiful and sunshiney. I think it's supposed to hit in the mid-80s again. It's humid as heck though. I could do without that. |
