My Mom, My sister, and I .. planning the Thanksgiving Day menu. I am so looking forward to spending time with La Familia.. all of us around one table. Raising a toast to My late Dad...in celebration of his life. Being thankful that he was in our lives.. the same for the My late maternal Grandparents. I am thankful for them each and every day. What each of them taught Me, and I in turn gave them. I have not always done what is right, nor what is wrong. However, I know they love Me in spite of it all.

Talking to Mother this morning and hearing that the socks I specially ordered for her arrived yesterday and they fit!! This is what she wanted.....and I found for her:

My sister and I went out for dinner tonight. Sitting at the table behind my sister were a butch and hys/his elderly mother.
I thought back to all the times I'd take my mother out to shop, for dinner or somewhere just to get out of the house and move around. It was good to see someone who adores hys mother the way I adored mine - - they obviously enjoyed each others company. Also - I thought hy seemed a rather nice looking fellow. Don't get me wrong - I have a major weakness for the ginger-haired femmes - but, objectively speaking, hy was attractive. Hy obviously took care with hys appearance and clothes - - matter of fact - I felt like a slob compared to hym! If hy does have a partner she is a lucky lady - - if going by the way he treated hys mother is any indication. :mohawk: |
This is my favorite time of year. I was walking down my neighborhood street today. It was a beautiful day. It was cool with a light breeze. Fall is certainly in the air. I was taking it all in- The falling leaves, the smell of fireplaces burning wood, the cool fall breeze in my hair, and all the fall like decorations people have added to their front lawn decor.
