The Fresh Springtime air here in the dunes outside my door today...
The beach.. The park.. Pretty flowers amid new forest growth.. Eating my lunch on the lagoon across the road .. Watching two morning doves kissing in a tree.. It all sort of made me smile, and think of my younger years again.. |
Random but nice conversation in good company, feeling relaxed and productive and enjoying a pot of tea as the sun goes down.

An out of the blue, and good news all around, call from cherished long time friend I've known since childhood -- funny thing is... last night I thought about calling to check in on them!

I have a new tree!! I called the city last spring and asked for a tree for my boulevard and they finally got it in for me.
I wanted a flowering one, so it was worth the wait. |

Homemade banana bread...an even trade for fixing a lawn tractor for a co-worker. Sometimes I think my co-worker just gets lonely and simply just wants some company. Putting a smile on that lady's face today was priceless...she didn't know I was stopping by. She is everyone's mom at work.
