I had sushi but with this cold I would have preferred soup. Oh well...the sushi was good..

We are going to the Winter Farmers’s Market this morning, so I bet there will be greens and brussel sprouts.

Last night I made an Winter veggie mix bowl of cauliflower buds, ripple cut zucchini and carrot slices, edamae, etc, and added pineapple salsa and added Chao Field Roast creamy slices of 'cheese'. After I prepared it in the bowl, I topped it off with Everything Sesame Seed salad toppers. It was very tasty and filling. I plan to have it again, tonight, for supper.
For dessert: a dark red Asian pear. Water to drink, and maybe a cup of herbal tea (Cranberry). |
Kätzchen's oh-so-healthy dinners make me feel guilty.
But not really. I had a DQ hot chocolate Oreo Blizzard with whipped cream on top. |
Following Georgia's example, and having had a HUGE lunch, I only had Halo Top peach ice cream and Bacon and Cheddar Cheez-Its for dinner. Water to drink. Healthy! :cheesy:

Sauteed onions, mini peppers, jalapeno in butter. Thinly sliced a boneless porkchop. Topped with Munster cheese, melts beautifully. Sour cream, avocado salsa and cilantro. Sparkling water (love the bubbles!) I picked up some cookies that were on sale for National Cookie Day. |

I just ate the latest edition of 'Southern Living" magazine. Tomorrow I'm having "Food and Wine " magazine. Great presentation, no calories, lots of fibre.

Power bowls, to meet the needs of... vegetarian daughter home from college, Spouse doing "The whole 30" and me, no gluten, beef, or pork.
So we have a spread of quinoa, smoked tofu, avocado, roasted squash, roasted Brussels sprouts, roasted cauliflower, sliced avocado, shrimp, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and tahini dressing. Everyone will make their own bowl for their needs. My daughter ate early and after a very food challenged semester at school, she is stuffed and happy as can be. |
