yesterday.

I went to the Bee Charmer in West Asheville...

I got alll kinds of bee stuff...

An embroidered (with bees, bee hive and flowers) wool change purse, bee lip butter (raspberry lemonade flavored) a "support beekeeping" sticker, and a beeswax candle with a tiny bee bead on it....I wanted this gorgeous gingered honey that is made in Ireland....sooo good. And this honey called fireweed is amazing too...I just have so much already....oh and I bought a lil thing of Tupelo honey...just to see what its all about :)

cinnamongrrl 10-22-2014 03:14 PM

I bought myself a housewarming gift...

A Bodum French press! I was gonna get a crappy off brand one at Kmart but I'm glad I waited!

Daktari 10-22-2014 04:32 PM

A 5metre rca to 3.5mm jack audio lead...I like connecting the laptop to a Bose Wave radio. It gives a surround sound effect which is awesome when watching movies

Kate Bush, The Kick Inside on cd. I still have the cassette tape, bought in '78 when the album was released but no tape player to play it on.

Cat food, salted cashew nuts, salt and black pepper crisps [uk>us: chips], halloumi.

Blade 10-26-2014 12:00 AM

While driving to the fish camp lare this afternoon, I came across a yard sale still going on. I ended up with a few finds. A single bed head and foot board I hope to make a bench out of, a small bunk bed ladder to make a pot rack out of 2 light fixtures a vase and an ole wooden ladder

Gemme 11-06-2014 05:07 PM

I TRIED to buy a pair of Nevados shoes but society deems that only men get to wear durable, waterproof work/hiking shoes and the smallest size I could find in the men's was a 7 and that was still tooooo big so I wound up getting some kids' boots that will either spring a leak or crack halfway through the winter. I'm hard on shoes, dammit!

I was successful in buying a few pairs of children's light gloves (I go through several pairs of them each winter too), groceries, tp and some hygiene items
.

Brasher boots are the answer!

I scored a brand new size 4(UK) pair for silly money last year on ebay and my feet love them.
