Cross your heart and promise you'll never tell" mini box of stationary sheets (Sanrio brand, and box is super cute) 8) Sanrio brand "Cinnamoroll, the shopping wonder pup" journal (Theme: "There's just no stopping when friends go shopping!). Pages are big and could also be used as individual stationary sheets because each page is crazy cute! 9) Hot Chocolate stick for the wrangler aka the fabulous Tommi (Stir it into a cup of hot milk and you'll have yourself some soothing hot chocolate) |

I mentioned the possibility of selling some of your crafts in my shop. I hope you all consider this option! I would love to see what you might want to send. I was just sharing with someone, that because you have to add shipping costs to the cost of making the items, I wont be taking my usual 40%, as that would make the items too expensive to sell realistically. Instead, i would only add on a little bit. If your item is worth $2, i would add on 50 cents. If you need to get $10 to cover costs and to pay yourself, I would add just $1 or $2 to each item. I NEED gifts to sell, especially during the holiday season. Although I would like to keep them in the shop all year round. You dont have to fear you will need to supply alot, nor do you have to worry that you have to commit to sending.supplying all year round. Even if you send one or two things once a year, that would be great. It would make my shop known for the unique, one of a kind, kind of special items! But you could also develop a line of goods just for my shop too if you are so inclined! I am SERIOUSLY looking for artists/crafters who can make me some incredible ample goddess icons in jewelry, drawings, polyclay, cards,, etc. If someone could make plump little angel and fairy pins, OMG, they would sell like mad! Especially if they came in a card that could then be put into a hand made frame that they could ALSO buy in my shop!
I dont want to take up this thread...its not the purpose of it. I respect Jen and wont derail her baby. Do you think, Jen, I could start a thread for crafters who want to market their wares, not just to me, but to anyone on this site? After all, the holidays and other occasions are coming up...I just dont know the policy on this.... but if people would like to send me photos of what they do, PM me for my email... |

hey Crafters! Go check out my post in the Fat Positive thread, about the newspaper article one of my customers wrote about me. I didnt know she was a writer for our local newspaper! She showed it to me for any corrections before she submits it. WOW! AND ...note that she uses the phrase "we are SO beautiful" Wont that be such a grand slam when people come in and see our community sign up for them to see!!!!!!

I received Ms Scarlett's and Claybaby's letters today. Oh my! They have outdone themselves! And what is so fascinating to me is how people's letters all compliment one another!This sign is going to be smashing up on the wall!
All I have left is PurePisces letters to arrive! Then up on the wall they go! And LOTS of photos! I had a tooth pulled today and am under pain medication..and alot of it. I did not get to use the gas. Their tank wasnt working..or whatever they dispense it with. I had to use only the local anesthesia. Oh lord...I hit the ceiling a few times. |

My air conditioner flooded my house almost two weeks ago and I'm am working with my insurance adjuster and A/C repair company trying to get insurance to pay for all the damage. But at the moment I've been spending all my spare time moving furniture and pulling up my lamanite flooring. I am hoping that all the stars align today and we get the paperwork from the A/C company that the insurance company needs to verify that this incident is covered by insurance. That will take a huge amount of stress off of me so that I can focus on this project, finally. If everyone is finished before me, I'll send mine out to everyone individually. the sign is BEAUTIFUL! And customer's remarked on it several times, loved not just the sentiment but the artistic talent! I will get photos up later tonight when my sister downloads them for me.
We have a wonderful showing for the open house and people bought ALOT! One of our famous cupcakeries donated special flavor cupcakes for the opening. Oh boy were they ever the hit! Now that my life is going to be more scheduled, I can get my tins done. I have them painted but had no time to craft them. I can work on them Monday and Tuesday and send them out Weds. Thank you for being patient and not nudging me...I so wanted to do this project and now I can!!! |

My sister took the photos for me, as I was busy waiting on customers. She has yet to send them to me, so I will nudge her.
I did not finish my tins...I have about another day or so work to do on them, but that translates into more than a week because of my schedule...so..let me ask you...would you like to mail out the ones you have and i will send mine seperately? I really want to add mine to your collections but I dont want to drag this out for everyone... |

I found this thread completely by accident...I actually looked at the BFP home page instead of just going to my user CP to check the threads I am subscribed to.
While I do not have the time, unfortunately, to be crafty and be involved in projects (though it does sound like fun) I am considering getting a post office box so that I can have pen-pals. I miss the old-school way of communicating of actually putting pen to paper and writing. I find it so much more rewarding to hold a piece of mail and see someone's hand written letter or card or post card. I think it is becoming a lost art. In my opinion you can tell so much more about a person from "snail-mail", like anyone that would receive something from me would quickly realize just how grateful I am that everything else I use has has spell check including the browser I use for posting on here. Anyways if anyone would like to figure out a way to enjoy the lost art of communicating through snail-mail with me just send me a private message and we might be able to figure out. Alix |
