So far I got the oil change for the car and shopped for groceries. I won't be able to mow because the lawnmower is going to take awhile to fix....... So I'm thinking a nice long walk will be happening soon. :)

cinnamongrrl 07-26-2015 11:38 AM

not as much as I'd like...

got the dog walked and gave him a bath

did the monthly paper purge in preparation for recycling Tuesday

did dishes and cleaned the kitchen

hung wash (that I washed yesterday but then it rained)

changed the cat box

what I NEED to get done:

transfer my closet from my old bedroom to the new one

rearrange the old room for my daughter

vacuum the rest of the house ( I already got the kitchen)

I really should strip my bed but that means washing AND drying at the laundromat. But...I do have some good magazines to read...hmm

bright_arrow 07-26-2015 11:44 AM

I've cleared my work e-mail of 94 messages (excluding the ones that came in while I was clearing out the pre-existing, so close to 140 total) in 5 days. Not a small feat considering they include making payments, sending confirmations, and often charging 20+ people for one e-mail.

Now my task is to clear out my 100 tickets assigned to me in our actual ticket queue. :seeingstars:

Tierney 07-27-2015 04:46 PM

Finished up the cleaning I started yesterday.

Registered for Fall classes. :glasses:

Did some research on funding sources.

Did some more research on getting a new laptop.

C0LLETTE 07-27-2015 06:02 PM

I organized my files. There is no more boring, less rewarding activity on this Earth.

Karysma 07-27-2015 07:14 PM

Today I started out with my normal workout and was finally able to extend my jog by 1 minute. Woo! Maybe I am out of that rut. After that I went to my first therapy session and was able to keep it together for the most part. lol! I am terrified of therapy so for me this is a win! I had a long talk with a friend of mine. I have been looking forward to picking her brain for a while! Lastly I cooked dinner - a new recipe - with only a little help. It was only a little burnt! lol!

All in all not a bad day.

MysticOceansFL 07-27-2015 11:09 PM

I feel like a sponge with all that I have absorbed this week. However, tomorrow the boss is off for the day - so it will be online training - which will be a nice breather.

Zimmeh 08-20-2015 06:32 PM

Talked to my district manager today. It has been nine years since I've had my original training, she is recommending that I get retrained. I have spent the majority of my night at work, studying! My brain hurts but I'm going to get promoted from part time to full time 😀

This was a most productive day. Finish my last bit of work (I know I am on vacation but it is a staycation and had to be done). Went and laid out at the pool at gym, 5th day of swimming again (omg, I feel like a million). Up to 15 laps, and 10 laps of jogging and more aqua weights. Oh, my gift to self (and yes butches can do this, lol) waxed brows and lip.

went to target and filled up my cart and I am home.

great day :)

I visited the Archway over I 80 at Kearney Nebraska. It's interesting what gets included and what/who gets unmentioned in the great migration West.

~SweetCheeks~ 09-05-2015 10:08 PM

Orema 10-11-2015 04:53 AM

Yesterday I drove on the freeway and did really good. Went from 65 to 80 mph, depending on the flow of traffic, and it felt good. The good feeling surprised me. Usually, I'm clenching the wheel these days when I'm on the freeway, but not yesterday. I even turned up the music for awhile. I made it to my destination and back without taking the back roads and it felt good driving in both directions. Drove a total of 7.5 miles.

It felt so good I was tempted to drive to the coast (25 or so miles from me) but i didn't because that's where I was going when I had my accident--not ready for that just yet.

I'm learning what driving triggers go off for me. I probably will never drive long distances on the freeway in the rain, nor with the top down, but thats okay. For now, I just wanna drive on the freeway in the sunshine without panicking and I accomplshed that yesterday.

cinnamongrrl 10-17-2015 07:09 PM

forced myself out of bed into a chilly house...

made breakfast and coffee and did dishes

fed and watered the dogs and cat

came home and hung the wash to dry

cleaned the bathroom

made dinner and did dishes/cleaned kitchen

brought in the unwinterproof plants

gave both dogs a bath :koolaid:

stayed awake past 9...woot!

Rockinonahigh 10-17-2015 07:33 PM

I have started the fall clothes bagging to send to good will. Tomorrow I will finish with the rest, the way I see it is if I haven't worn it in the last few months I don't need it.

I looked back upon my twenties....

...(early 30s, too; if I'm being completely honest) and spent a few hours reflecting on wtf I could possibly have been thinking.

Wow. lol, seriously; just wow. Aging like a fine :wine: baby; that's me!

Thank goodness I'm so mature now! <dies laughing>

RockOn 10-19-2015 07:17 PM

Came in this morning to 4 user issues. Cleared up 3 of them by 4:40 this afternoon. That was decent ... considering the complexity of 2 of them.

cinnamongrrl 10-19-2015 07:28 PM

I dont know what lit the proverbial fire under my ass but....

I FINALLY got around to sorting through stuff from when my daughter was here (over a month ago)

I've had boxes of stuff in my living room since then...I guess its just parting with things that were hers.

So I took everything out of the box she started for donations to the animal shelter and folded it and sorted matching items etc (bathing suits, shoes etc) The stuff will go to the "re-tail" shop and proceeds go to the shelter..

I organized my recycling and did some paper purging in preparation for my bi weekly recycling.

I also repurposed a little table to hold all the plants that I've already had to bring in. It's now happily situated in the sunniest window in the kitchen.

My client gave me heaps of clothes, most from her travels in Europe. I am sending most of the stuff to my girls, so I got a box and packed them up.

I organized the dogs' treats and...stuff....a little better. It needed to be done...

I vacuumed the majority of the house.

Did dishes

Washed the dogs' dishes

Fed and watered all furkids

Took in wash and folded it. Putting it away is a whole other animal. I would seriously hire someone to just PUT clothes away....

Smiling 10-19-2015 07:35 PM

Get outta here, you dang overachiever!

I'm just a great procrastinator! Then I get fed up and get it ALLLL done...lol

Blade 11-28-2015 11:50 PM

Started after midnight and finished this afternoon.

I cleaned out my dresser and my closet. Took out all the clothes that were worn out or to small and replaced them with the new clothes I've bought in the last few weeks. Separating the work clothes from the out on the town clothes and the short sleeves from the long sleeves.

I must have cleaned out $300-400 of clothes. Sad thing is many still had the tags on them. Even sadder I called several people I know and nobody could wear them. Some were to big some to small.

But I feel good with the purge, just hate there was so many I never wore.

So far, I have only managed to dig through this huge truck box I have stored in the garage that is full of things I've told myself I "need or may need", in order to find my ultra fine (#0000) stainless steel. Found it! Best thing there is for cleaning and polishing glass as far as I am concerned.

Now, I am going out to clean and polish all of the glass on my truck. Sadie's nose dna is all over the inside of the back glass! Yuck!

Afterwards, I will give the windshield and the back glass on the camper shell a good treatment with Rain-X.

Jesse 11-29-2015 02:12 PM

I ended up doing all of the glass on both the truck cap and the truck, then I cleaned the windows on the front of the house and the storm door. Next I cleaned & polished both of the bathroom mirrors. At one point I was reminded of the movie, "The Karate Kid", wax on, wax off, wax on, wax off. :)

Attended church service and bible study class. Returned movies to the redbox and cleaned up my girls bathroom.

Lecheloco 11-29-2015 08:30 PM

Everything I wanted to
I've been so busy the last few weeks I have missed most of the football games

Jesse 12-01-2015 04:02 PM

Not much of anything. I went out for lunch with a wonderful dear friend of mine and the two of us ended up laughing the early afternoon away. We had a blast. :)

Tomorrow, we are hitting up the local thrift store for "Customer Appreciation Day" & 50% of everything in the store and then out for breakfast. Should be fun, I need a couple of things they just may have. :sunglass:
