I will give myself a gift today...the gift of hope. I hope to find a moment of quiet to think, or time to spend on a hobby I love, or a day of companionship with a good friend or whatever gives me joy!

I am beautiful inside and out. Life is good and getting better. It takes only patience for good things to find their way to the edges of my path, and when they do I will grab hold and improve that which is already good. |
I will step off the merry go round that is my brain today and pause for 10 minutes. I deserve 10 minutes of judgment-free, worry-free, stress-free bliss. That's my gift to me, today.

Today is filled with opportunities for joy and appreciation. I am grateful for those people in my life who are perpetual reminders of why it is best to focus on joy and beauty. I will thank each of them out loud, in print and in my heart for all that they teach me.

Today I will celebrate the first day of the last month of 2011. I will reflect on my year-to-date. What successes? What failures? What joys? I am going to start today so I can add in anything I might have missed before the end of this year. It's the little things that count. I am a beautiful, blessed woman with a myriad of friends and family who intentionally and willingly choose to be in my life. Thank you.
