My son arrived at my door last night with a dozen beautiful roses and a card. I asked, "What are these for?" And his boyfriend said, "It's Mother's Day on Sunday". Was my face red.......but my heart was glowing.

Seeing my silly dog jump around like a rabbit. He makes me laugh.

coming home from ER and being greeted by a dog I know spent the entire time I was away, plastered to the door I had left through. I just know she prayed for me to return. I know dogs and all animals have some form of communication to that which is "us and more than us"...when I saw her face and the relief on it, my own face lit up with joy. What love we share, she and I.

Its another beautiful day in the Great Northwest!!! And my kids are full of energy. I'm thinking they will need a picnic in the gazebo today. Ahh, to be a kid.

Please don't laugh, i mean i'm talking about something i did in Second Life..
i went to my very first bathhouse which thankfully wasn't as seedy as i thought it would be.

But my joy isn't about going to the bathhouse, it's about being able to put myself out in in social situations, i find being social very incredibly difficult

i did it, and didn't stress myself out once

enjoying time with my friends, my chosen family..I am very lucky to have a gang of friends that love and support me for who I am. it took me a long time to find them but I thank the Lord for them every day. I'm also very blessed to have a partner in this life that wants nothing more than for me to be happy and healthy, seeing her smile warms my heart. Electra(mrs. geek and my Goddess), Missy and Sara(the bestest sisters from another momma that a geek could have), Ernie(my gay boy who looks better in women's clothes than i ever did)and last but certainly not least, all of my bfp buddies...I love you all more than words. that's what brought me joy today :) ~geek~ :nerd:
