<<~ Just got home from work today and was listening to some killer vintage soul on KBOO on the way home which led me to find a song on Youtube: Margie Joseph's cover of "I'd rather go blind." Other than that, I'm making some killer french toast to eat and then I'm settling into bed with a really good book which I snagged from Powells, due to someone's recommendation about said book (author: Erik Larson).

<<~ woke up with a scratchy throat and my head hurts terribly, my legs are killing me, my feet don't wanna go anywhere. I plan to stay in bed today and sip on tea, maybe read from a book or two or just drift off to dreamland.

<<~ was here tonight, quietly reading, but definately feel like it's a blue sparkles kind of night. It's really cold tonight too (wind, rain, snow in the upper elevations). It's also really late for me: 4am comes way too early on a Saturday morning, so snuggling with my pillows and dreaming a few dreams sounds really good about now.

<<~ came home from work yesterday and fell dead into bed and slept for more than 15 hours (oh mY!). Today is Sunday (a weekly holiday, in my universe). Still listening to Funki Porcini (As The Crow Flies), might make something scrumptious to eat, definately will pamper me today (might even go for a drive to someplace beautiful).

<<~ Is very tired tonight, but I did manage to lead a productive life today: I got my housework done, went on an interview, spent time visiting with my daughter (via skype, this afternoon), spent wayyyyy too much time online but I did manage to pay close attention to the preparation of supper tonight, which was a slow cooked stew made out of last night's roast, garden vegetables and homemade buttermilk biscuits. Right now though, I'm going to listen to some music (The La Jolla Symphony) and then snuggle with my pillows because it's time for bed....

<<~ has spent her morning here waking up to the new day (Monday): I listened to music, posted in forum threads a bit, have yet to have breakfast but will go take care of that shortly (in the kitchen). I miss driving; being able to just take off and sail around the countryside when I need to clear my mind and find a fresh perspective on life. Will probabbly go for a walk out in nature later today, provided the pearly gray clouds float effortlessly above and shed no rain.

k, is now off to go make some breakfast and tend to today's present realities.

i'm plotting how I can fit 5 different errands in one evening while still visiting with my mom, who will be in town with my dad, who is getting a stent placed. too much to do and not enough time to do it!

Watching Hunger Games with Teddy....who is making some dip for the chips :)

Then hopefully going out for a lil ride.... i need outdoors time!

Sitting in my car, waiting for an appoinment as usual. It's freaking hot. Give me a doctors appointmet over a home visit any day.

wiped out after a long day....but we got some stuff done and will do more tomorrow.... :)

Listeaning to my girlfriend sleep, while reading my book! I was still talking and she fell asleep! She said her day was long though! Poor baby!! :)

is so thankful for time and energy. finding it amazing what i can do when my body is getting the the nutrition and vitamins/minerals it needs to work properly.

<<~ woke up just a bit ago and is now waiting for my hair to dry naturally. I feel rested this morning. I smile today because of forum thread conversations centering around a very complicated subject (empathy) that is not an easy discussion to have at a micro- level, much less at a macro- level. I guess my thoughts about that are complicated too in that human health issues are a commodity (people earn a living via this organizational model). We do need ways of earning a living and when my hair is dry, that's exactly what my plan is today: Return to potential employers or happen to come across a potential employer today and nail that job down (illusive as it has been, over the past three weeks). I take heart though in that I did need a reprieve from my former job. I woke up to beautiful fall-like weather and quietness in the neighborhood, which feels good this morning. I am now off (after a few card games in the arcade, I'm still waking up) to have a very productive day....

I must go out into the world today and practice the fine art of Cat Righting Reflexes in my mysteriously beautiful array (my hair is wildly curly today). Is taking ample supplies of blue sparkles and bubbles since the day looks to be entirely gorgeous here: not one pearly gray cloud graces the heavens above.
