Today it was a balmy 65* with some sun popping out now and then,tomorrow it will be in the low 70*s,this is much welcomed after the past cold nasty days.

Today it has been cold,wet and very miserable for my arthritis. I will be so glad when we get back to simi warm days so I wont hurt so bad.

a winter weather advisory begins sometime today through sometime tomorrow, i dont know, i quit keeping track. 3-6" is ecpected.

The thing about snow here isn't that it snows and there's a lot of it (this is the Snow Belt); it's when the ploughs come through to clear the roads and bury everything on either side in huge mountains of snow, ice, road salt...you park on the street after a snow storm warning, you will pay dearly.

Freezing rain here in TN. Would rather it be snow at least you can drive on that.

I'm Canadian, hear me roar! We can drive in rain, on ice, on snow and on the West Coast we have the tsunami escape routes memorised. lol

Good Morning to me: in NJ 20 year old insists on driving to work. Schools are closed... another snow day for 14 year old .... supposed to take ex for epidural because she has no idea how to care for herself and the college I work at in NYC and can only drive to is open... WTF?

Currently, it's 28 and 20 with the wind chill.
This is what good ole weather.gov says: Snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 2pm, then rain and sleet likely between 2pm and 4pm, then a chance of rain and snow after 4pm. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 36. Northeast wind 7 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible. This will on top of the 3 inches that's coming down now. If I were a kid and this were a snow day it would be cool. Sometimes I am really annoyed at being a grown up. :goodluck: <---to me |
In East Tx, an hour outside Dallas, it's 31*F and feels like 20 with windchill.
Today's high is 35* and tonight will be 22* with windchill around 0. No snow in my forecast for my town, but ICE is expected in Dallas and Ft. Worth areas, with possible snow in their forecast too. I'm over this cold weather already. Bring on Spring! |
