Just got off the phone with my mom, who called me cussing her phone because I haven't been getting her text messages. After 30 minutes mixed with a few frustrating but mostly humorous minutes, it seems as though the issue has been resolved and my mom is once again happy. If only everyone was so easily pleased...

Relaxing and having a late lunch after spending hours trying to get things squared away concerning my hospital stay. Just had this feeling if I didn't call and check up on every one involved we'd drive for hours only to get up there and find out there had been some sort of a mix up. There was but since my appointment isn't till the end of next month there's still plenty of time to get things straightened out. Well, it just goes to show - assume nothing, double check everything.
