Orema 11-23-2019 05:44 PM

Rosemary seasoned wings and asparagus wrapped in prosciutto. First time I’m making this and it’s not looking like I thought it would but I’m hungry and it will have to do.

I'm not sure how the mayo would work but the rest does sound delish. Personally, I'm going for the veggie next time. I get a sandwich free with a drink since I signed up for their text program. Score!

Tonight, I had Aloha chicken sausage with a Hawaiian bowl and peach cobbler for dessert. Water to drink.

Stone-Butch 11-24-2019 07:15 AM

Dinner

A buddy is coming for eats and a movie so we will have pizza with double pepperoni, double cheese, tomatoes and green peppers. YUM.... ice tea for both of us.

A lot.

I'm expensive.

:eyebat:

Tonight it was one of the Aloha links, apple and sausage and cranberry stuffing, steamed broccoli and cauliflower, riced cauliflower with shaved Brussels sprouts and maple and bacon followed by the last little bit of peach cobbler and oj to drink. Water chaser.

TIMBERWOLF 11-24-2019 07:18 PM

The kitchen is serving soup (Can't have) and a turkey and cheese sandwich. So cause I don't eat their bread or deli meat , I've asked for two fried eggs and bacon. I have my own bread, Sara Lee Butter bread. This bread is so good and it doesn't get stale. It's a good thing cause I only order my groceries once a month. Oh the bacon & eggs were good.

It was so-so. I used the right size asparagus (thin) but the prosciutto wasn’t crisp enough because my strips weren’t thin enough. The wings were pre-seasoned with beer and rosemary. They were okay, but am glad I purchased them on sale.

I’d have it again, but only because that’s the only thing in the fridge.

I bet your asparagus with almonds and Asiago was better.

Stone-Butch 11-25-2019 12:30 PM

Dinner

Dinner tonight is fried codfish and steamed green beans. Iced tea.

Dinner

I had picadillo on corn tortillas with fresh pica de gallo and peach ice tea.

Yummy!

Bèsame* 11-25-2019 07:05 PM

I'm going to roast some zucchini, yellow squash and eggplant. I have some cheese tortellini, and I'll top that with garlic butter and parmesan cheese.

I was hoping to get started before the football game, but even the best intentions don't always go the way you want. Lol

Thanksgiving Prep-

I am known among some, to prepare anything to meet my personal approval before serving to family-That being said:

Orange Candied Yams will be my signature dish this Thanksgiving.

I made the sauce* today and OMG-osh!

Ling Ling pot stickers from Costco, lots of Great Value stir fry vegetables instead of rice. I did not know a serving of rice is only half a cup, a half a cup of cooked rice. I usually eat large amounts of it. And definitely not brown rice either. Coffee with half and half, trying to stay awake, and that's it. Saving dessert calories for latter when I'm having Swiss Miss no sugar added hot cocoa with fresh mini marshmallows in it right before bed.

GeorgiaMa'am 11-25-2019 07:35 PM

- chili
- cornbread with butter
- applesauce
- a windmill cookie

Kätzchen 11-26-2019 01:32 AM

Tiny Black Bean Tamales; a cup of clear veggie broth.
A simple almond butter short bread cookie.

Water to drink. Herbal tea in a short bit.

Gemme 11-26-2019 10:12 AM

I had eggplant cutlets, sausage/apple/cranberry stuffing, maple/bacon/riced cauliflower mix, cranberry sauce and water to drink.

There was a Thanksgiving dinner down at our clubhouse tonight.

It was really good. Sometimes you are leary about Turkey, but this was moist. I was thinking I want more.

I was lucky, I brought home a goody bag of leftovers.
Made my holiday, I'm grateful 💝

nycfem 11-26-2019 10:29 PM

I had sushi from favorite local place. I had all veggie rolls, and all brown rice: 1 avocado, 1 kampyo (pickled gourd), and 1 oshinko (pickled yellow veggie) with ginger and wasabi (I never have soy sauce with sushi, perhaps because the pickledness of the veggies gives enough salt.). I also had a side salad with ginger dressing and cold soft tofu. Oh, and miso soup. It's a comforting meal and not too heavy. I do not understand people who can live without sushi.

Kätzchen 11-26-2019 11:04 PM

a bowl of organic Sweet Pea Soup (it's a lot like split pea soup). I added coconut cream to it and heated it up slowly. A few organic multigrain crackers, and later on I will have one Almond butter shortbread cookie. Warmed water to drink and a side of carrot juice.

I really like them. I made some broccoli and mixed it in. It's an easy meal when I don't feel like cooking. :)

GeorgiaMa'am 11-27-2019 05:57 PM

Dinner with Mom. We had:
- ham biscuits
- potato salad
- broccoli raisin salad
- tomato bacon salad
- Mediterranean pasta salad

(My mom likes the deli.)

Chad 11-27-2019 06:31 PM

Dinner

We just snacked for dinner. I made a delicious porkloin and queso. So meat, cheese, and chips.
Had some tasty peach-mango water.

Yummy!

Bèsame* 11-27-2019 07:59 PM

Buttermilk pie........................shame on me!

GeorgiaMa'am 11-28-2019 04:49 PM

Leftovers, of course!

Did everyone get their serving of green bean casserole today?

Gemme 11-28-2019 07:48 PM

I did not! But I don't like it, so it's okay. I did get my asparagus almondine so it's all good.

My dinner consisted of: roasted turkey, apple/cranberry/sausage stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus almondine, riced cauliflower with maple and bacon, cranberry sauce and water.

Mopsie 11-29-2019 07:07 AM

I didn't get any green bean casserole either.

And I love green bean casserole.

I think I'm going to have to make some this weekend. I have to correct this Injustice.

Chad 11-29-2019 08:26 PM

Dinner

We had homemade loaded nachos. Yummy!

homoe 11-30-2019 03:24 AM

Mary arrived back home tonight and took me out for Mexican.......:eating:

Chancie 11-30-2019 06:43 PM

I made minestrone soup and it was dee-licious.

Kätzchen 11-30-2019 07:44 PM

two small meat-free veggie patties and some steamed brown rice, with quinoa and miniature broccoli florets. I cut my Caesar salad dressing in half with Good Karma's Flax 'milk', to drizzle over both the veggie patties and brown rice, quinoa, broccoli mixture.

Warm water to drink; herbal tea in a bit.

For dessert: a piece pumpkin-carrot-coconut cake, which has raisins and walnuts in it. Sans frosting. I'll have herbal tea with my dessert.

GeorgiaMa'am 11-30-2019 07:50 PM

- a ham salad sandwich
- pumpkin pie with whipped cream
- applesauce
