Laundry for the whole family well the 3 of us since my mom hurt her leg.
Grocery shopping in a bit. Help cook dinner. Watch new puppy and my dog to avoid issues while mom and dad get a break. |
Today I would LIKE to paint my sitting room. I'm still in my jammies on the couch though.....
Later, I'm taking my mom for the results of her Thursday CT scan...really hoping it's good news. Preparing myself in case it isn't. Tonight...I'd LIKE to make dinner. But truly, I need to work on my research paper. |
Having my yearly mammo....I can hardly wait.....NOT! The new 3D ones are so much easier.
Since I "skipped" last year (due to so much damn upheavals) it is important I get this now! |
A lot of phone calls, Physical Therapy, and then a trip to a consignment store with Mary.

It's another gorgeous day here, with blue skies and sheer nascent cloud haze. Perfect "wear your sunglasses" type of weather.
I will have brunch soon (garden salad and sliced up chunks of cantaloupe), then take a shower and primp a bit, then go pick up the book that was delivered to the closest library. "drum roll, please"....eye/hearing exam... Yesterday was smash the tatas day! I had to have the whole exam TWICE....and do a 90 degree angle on each PLUS the Radiologist/MD did a free breast exam...to make sure there were NO lumps/bumps/funky things in them tatas! So, THAT is good for a year or so now! Get my "oil changed" and that is good for couple or 3 years now! Tomorrow is the special IV infusion therapy to be done every week for 10 weeks at my oncologist's office. |
Finish items on today's cleaning list
Make final decision on bathroom standalone cabinetry then, taking the great big leap of faith into the unknown, just do it – push the button and order it off Amazon. Make and freeze biscuits before milk in the fridge gets too sour to do anything with. Clip Monte's toenails. I gave him a manicure yesterday but he's been feeling himself a bit too much these days and for some reason, rage against the machine, is now behaving like some sort of freedom fighter for, who even knows what rebel cause. Anyhow in the struggle I missed a couple. It's hard to count toes when a cat is writhing around as if some sort of thing demonically possessed in a horror movie. |
It's been work all day but it's soooo nice out! I took a few residents out on walks today. Win win. Tonight I am presenting at what was supposed to be a panel presentation for community health workers on the intersections of women's mental and physical health in relation to domestic violence and homelessness. However, I was informed this morning that it will be just me presenting :| Then I will go home and eat the dinner that my handsome one will have made and hopefully get the dog out for a good walk.

Doing chores, cooking my butch a requested pot of Lima beans, running in town to get some car gas and her carton of cigarettes, laundry, cutting dogs nails and cleaning their faces with the special wipes, brushing their teeth, maybe walking down to the mailbox and back.
