It's been raining, off and on, all day. We need it so it's welcome even though it's muggy as all get out.
|
Raining here but we do need it. Its 80 something and not as muggy as it has been.

Tonight's sky after the rain....Absolutely beautiful!

A couple of weeks ago, during a heat wave, I noticed a huge flock of starlings rising up in the sky, near sunset, and as twilight gave way to night time, more starlings filled the sky. There must have been hundreds of them, that night.
Tonight, at sun down, a flock of geese took to the skies. Today was very warm, nearly 100 degrees. We have clear skies tonight, so the Temps will hover near the upper 50s, most likely will be very crisp air in the morning. We really need some rain, but we might not get any rain until late next week. But it was beautiful today. Trees are already bursting with deep beautiful reds, oranges and golden yellows. Weekend highs: upper 70s, low 80s. Weekend lows: 50s, trending toward upper 40s. |

Tuesday 11:00 AM Cloudy 63°F Humidity: 88% Wind: 8 mph |
it has been cooler in the high 80's and the low 90's,it has been really dry so we have burn bans hear. Yesterday I put out food and water for the wild things cause I saw two squirrel's drinking out of the dogs water bowl on the patio, so it has to be bad for them to come up to the house in the daytime hours. A bit ago the weather report says it should be cooling of over the next few weeks, I hope so, and a mild winter would be nice as well.

At the moment it is 86* and cloudy, yes it looks like rain but it also has this time of day for the last couple of days. It's just the mosquitoes that are a pain in the ass...the Louisiana state bird still fly's.
|
It was 100* today, and will cool down to the low 90's next week.
Whoo hoo, break out the sweaters  |
It was 83 here today... Warmer than usual for fall here... It's 69 now and headed down a few more degrees before the night's over... Beautiful day!
Very thankful! |
a nice evening following a nice day.. it's 69* now and supposed to go down to 55 overnight.. great night for open windows with a fan on for good sleeping!
:farmer: |
We might get a touch of rain tomorrow, but it has been just gorgeous lately.
Highs: 70s. Lows: 50s. :stillheart: |
We will definitely be having weather tomorrow.
|
We had sunshine today, but there's a chill in the air.
Our high today was around 66 degrees. Tonight it will be in the low 40s. Fall is definitely in the air, tonight. |
Launched the ark at noon. Unicorns missed the boarding call again. |
Rain yesterday, all night and most of today. Looking at the potential path of Hurricane Joaquin, it appears that at the end of the weekend or early next week is going to be crazy around here. Even if it doesn't hit land, we're surrounded by the ocean so I might be able to surf on land.
 |
Light rain, foggy mornings, beautiful mild weather for October.
Highs: 72-75 degrees. Lows: Upper 50's. |
A real cold front moved in yesterday. Highs in mid 40's, lows prompting freeze warnings. It even flurried yesterday. I am not ready to give up shorts and tanks. |
cooler today, only a sweater is necessary
|
Rain from Thursday to Monday. Susposed to get 4-6 inches of rain. I just hope it's a slow raining session over the days to come instead of flash flooding.
|
It's been cloudy all day but no rain yet, we sure need it cause we are under a big time burn ban.
|
The rain is here since yesterday and it's pouring outside today like no tomorrow. Stops then rains hard again. I hear the thunder rolling around outside. Storms are moving Eastward. We're supposed to get from 5-6 inches of rain in some places. I know it's already rained over an inch where I live.
There is now a storm that is hitting in the Gulf of Mexico that should hit Texas as well. They are saying the storm is in Mexico now and has 200 mph winds doing damage along the coast of Mexico and heading to Texas coastline. It may even reach other coastlines nearby, like Louisianna. Just check out your local weather reports and get ready for some bad storms out there. |
Shreveport hear, all we are getting is light rain but the clouds look pretty bad so worse weather is coming.
|
It was in the 70s and gorgeous yesterday and today it dropped 20-something degrees and was sunny, breezy and chilly all day.
I'm thinking good thoughts for those in Mexico caught in Hurricane Patricia's path. |
About 5:00p.m. we got some bad down poor's with thunder then it quit a couple of hours later. At the moment no rain is falling but I bet we get it good before it's over. We need the rain it has been way to dry hear.
|
55 degrees on November 1st.
|
63 and partly cloudy right now low is going to be 59
|
More thunder and lightening and rain for Florida!
|
64 degrees and sunny.
|
|
It's a dark and dreary day...looks like more rain.
|
We're on Daylight Savings Time so now little urban kids can go out in the daylight to the fields to mow the hay and milk the cows before heading off to their Inner City schools.
Course it's miserably dark and cold as they trudge off the school bus after the half block ride from school. |
I'm not sure about the weather per say BUT once when I was partnered up, the phone rang and whoever was on the other end wanted to know IF THE COAST WAS CLEAR! hehehehehehe
|
62 and mostly cloudy!
Low of 57 tonight! |

I know a couple of our members that live in these places. Hats off to you because I couldn't do it. 200-300-400 plus inches is too much snow! Hell, a foot of snow is too much for me. I'm good around the 10 inch mark....for the whole season.
Yeah, that would be nice. Currently, it's sunny and chilly at 47-48 degrees. |
After all this freaking flooding and rain rain rain in Texas, it's only going to be dry this week on Monday and Tuesday. More rain to come either Wednesday or Thursday and I hope it's a slow rain because we can't handle anymore flooding shit. The ground is sopping wet and can't soak up anymore, the rivers are flooding people out, etc. etc. etc.
I feel so bad for those that died in the floods, the tornadoes that hit, and all the survived that survived only to have no home to return to. |
68 degrees and sunny.
