This movie is SO much more than a transitioning 16 year old!

It's a movie about family, relationships, and lies that always come to surface. I

highly recommend this movie....:movieguy:

I just saw the trailer for that- it looks so good!!!!!!!!!

My last movie was Wonder Woman and it was so so good and I'm loving watching the ripple effect of it in aspiring amazons everywhere.

Also recently was Guardians of the Galaxy 2--- Go Groot!

And saw Hidden Figures for the 5th time.

Gemme 06-15-2017 06:44 AM

I saw this earlier in the week. It's been ages since I went to the theatre and I was the only one in the theatre. I love the a.m. shows. It feels like it's all just for me and no one sits near me. Score!

Junebug (2005)

Nothing special IMHO.........:movieguy:

homoe 06-17-2017 05:22 PM

Last night we watched Table 19.......

It was an odd , quirky little movie, but for some reason it worked for me.
Check it out and see what you think..

I liked it as well but I'm partial to Anna Kendrick movies anyway.

homoe 06-18-2017 08:50 AM

Watched an odd little movie last night called All Roads Lead to Rome ......

*Anya* 06-18-2017 07:23 PM

John Wick, Chapter 2

I've been waiting for this one. It's On Demand.

I absolutely love action movies! This one is so well done!

European settings and fantastic action scenes. Keanu Reeves kicks ass!

homoe 06-24-2017 04:48 AM

Kids Are All Right (2010) Annette Bening, Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo

I had watched this movie before and just didn't think it rang true.....

Watched it again last night and still feel the same :movieguy:.....

Loved the cast, the movie not so much

Life

It had its moments. Unfortunately, it did not take long to figure out what would happen...

Kosmo 06-24-2017 09:06 PM

Guardians of the galaxy 2 at the movie theater.
Little boxes on Netflix.

JDeere 06-25-2017 12:20 AM

Wonder Woman last night and it was great, I am going to find something on Netflix soon.

John Wick 1 or John Wick 2 or both?

I loved both of them but think #2 edged out #1!

PS: Are you new to the Planet? Welcome!

Glad to have you here! :bunchflowers:

3 Generations (2015)

Watched it again and caught some things I missed the first time around:movieguy:

Venus007 06-28-2017 08:33 AM

John Wick 2. It was ok, too much fighting. I would have been happy if they trimmed out about 30 minuts of it, it gets tedious when it just drags on forever.

Scuba 06-28-2017 11:00 PM

Transformers. Meh.

akiza 06-29-2017 10:26 AM

Shelter the silence of the hollow ^^ it's a psycho movie with mental illness, spirits and suspense it's funny

homoe 07-01-2017 04:37 PM

Fever Pitch (2005) Jimmy Fallon Drew Barrymore

Lindsay is stuck in the middle of her relationship with Ben and his passion for the Boston Red Sox.

It had a few yucks but not really worth sitting through it all IMHO

Fallon was smart to venture into more of a comedy field instead of continueing to pursue acting IMHO

homoe 07-01-2017 05:20 PM

Lunchbox.......

A mistaken delivery in Mumbai's famously efficient lunchbox delivery system connects a young housewife to an older man in the dusk of his life as they build a fantasy world together through notes in the lunchbox.

Breathless 07-02-2017 02:33 PM

The last movie I watched was a documentary called 'The Woman with 7 Personalities'
A woman connects with her childhood friend who had seven distinct personalities, while also consulting with psychological experts about the rare condition.
I enjoy the documentary as I felt it was respectfully presented from a personal upclose view that wasnt overly clinicly garbled. (if that makes sense)

girl_dee 07-02-2017 06:20 PM

Today i watched The Zookeepers Wife.. OMG what a tearjerker!

i also watched Wonder Woman this weekend.... not that impressed

i also watched the 50 Shades sequel... i thought it was good!

The Take............ Idris Elba, Richard Madden, Charlotte Le Bon

A young con artist and an unruly CIA agent embark on an anti-terrorist mission in France.

I am not usually a fan of action movies and BOY did this movie have action but I rather enjoyed this one for some reason.,

Chad 07-15-2017 06:10 PM

Now I am watching Woman of the Year (1942) with Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn.

Norman (2016)

Norman (2016)Richard Gere Michael Sheen Steve Buscemi Josh Charles

Norman Oppenheimer is a small time operator who befriends a young politician at a low point in his life. Three years later, when the politician becomes an influential world leader, Norman's life dramatically changes for better and worse.

An odd little movie but I did find it enjoyable! IMHO it was WAY to long tho..
