Tonight, the family supper potluck will consist of...
chicken fried steak (made by J) mashed potatoes (made by me) corn (made by me) and some kind of dessert (bought by C, cause she never cooks ;) |
Marinated chicken breast tenders in (spicy szechuan marinade w/ honey mustard), fluffy jasmine rice and a veggie I'm sure. :)
Sweet tea to drink! |
Chilli... it's only Tuesday.. 4-5 days to go. If I share with the dog, maybe 3 days.

Been sick since Friday and haven't eaten much because Ive been too tired to do more than make toast. Is that why everyone eats toast when they are sick? :blink:

Jet's Big-Ass Burgers
Patties mixed with 4 hot spices, egg, cracker, Worcestershire, diced yellow onion, Kosher salt and pepper. Sauteed slow in a mound of mushrooms and olive oil. Then topped with 2 melted cheeses, under warm hamburger buns, and served with sour cream and chopped green onion.
I like my cheeseburgers with dill pickles, a pile of chips and a 6-pack of beer. |
Left overs again!!! That is the last time I make sauerkraut and pork chops in the crock pot, for a really really really long time !!!! :confused:

My son wanted one of my super deck'r burgers with baked seasoned french fries,all I wanted was a good size bake'd sweet potato,tomato slices with basil,minces garlic and shaved parmesan cheese dribble'd with extra virgin olive oil.

I made a seafood pasta...with a sauce that I threw together with cream cheese...and cream...but by the time it was done I wasnt hungry.....soo it will be dinner tomorrow...

Turkey Chili seasoned with chili seasoning, sriracha, tomato sauce, tomato, diced onion, beans and basil.
Served with cornbread or crackers or french bread. Not sure which yet :) Washed down with a cold tea! |
