Worked hard non-stop from 10:00 a.m. until 5:15 p.m.
Met a friend at IHOP for breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and did not eat again until 6:00 p.m. So hungry, after showering, fixed 3 banana sandwiches - quick prepare time was the name of my game. They tasted too good! :) Milk to drink. I am so whooped, must take a nap and it is only 6:30 p.m..... what the heck, there at the end of my day, I chopped 4 stubborn stumps with an axe, they all had huge roots. After much grunt work, (pulling and pulling) I finally ripped all of them out of the ground. I am so happy about that. Now I can prepare the soil for some new bushes. YAY! |
To night i'm fixing fish and chips.

A large slice of free pizza (donated) and a small homemade (not in my home!) pink lemonade cupcake. All from the concession stand at school for the basketball tournament this weekend that I'm volunteering for (I take tickets for the games, not only gobble up the concession stand foods).

We are having meatloaf, potato salad, and yeast rolls. All homemade, of course.
Pops has his surgery on Wednesday and requested this as his "last meal" since he won't be able to eat anything solid for a while. :praying: |

I might be eating some tranquilisers. I'm considering selling my house and moving after 30 years in this home. Anxiety after anxiety...ugh . Maybe meatloaf or porridge might work.

I'm not sure. Maybe leftovers from last night (turkey kielbasa with yellow peppers, onions, yellow and green squash and button mushrooms paired with basmati rice) or maybe I'll make something from the beef strips I picked up today.

Cottage cheese with sliced peaches will be easy and quick.

A warm tomato salad - plum tomatoes barely cooked in garlic infused olive oil, on lots of baby spinach with goat cheese sprinkled on top.

Roasted butternut squash, red pepper and garlic soup with crusty bread.

Tonight we're having....
grilled boneless pork chops baked sweet potato for me, regular potato for D a sweet corn & edamame mix and a glass (or two) of red merlot :) |

Tonight I made beef stir fry with a salad.

Not in the mood to cook.
So I just fixed some stovetop stuffing. It was a yummy carb fest. :) |
