turned the grill on low a few minutes ago and took neighbor a ribeye

I decided to have a fire in the firepit. It was such a nice day today and I didn't want it to end. The moon is full and it's a lovely evening. It would be better if I had someone to enjoy it with but I love a fire so I'm happy.

Honestly? I am laughing at intentional rudeness. It actually does make me laugh when people go out of their way to be rude. Then it makes me wonder why they are so unhappy and have to take it out on others. Craziness.

It's doctor appointment day and it is sooooooo stormy outside. Rain, more rain, and so much rain that you wonder where it all could possibly go. I need to figure out what to wear, though. And make something to eat (brunch-a-lunch).

taking a break, sitting on the patio eating hot wings, drinking an icy cold Coke, watching my dogs enjoying themselves .... Kevie dug a big hole and is in it snoozing ... Jennifer is tossing ice cubes in the air and every once in a while catches her own toss ... I adore both of them! :)

I'm thinking about going out on my own, this afternoon, get some fresh air, maybe ride the train, do a little day dreaming, since it's only pearly skies (no rain, no wind).

Maybe treat myself to something sweet ....

I went to bed early, so I could get up early (my normal work schedule routine, although I'm not back to work yet).

I just made some hot cocoa.
I wanted to watch the sun rise today.
Should be pretty, but I can't tell yet *lol*

I checked out a bunch of books yesterday.
Discovered that I'm 207th in line, waiting for the book --- Big Little Lies. Maybe by September I will get to read it (hopefully sooner).

Doing some things aorund the house today.

Lounging about this morning. Not feeling the best and I work this afternoon, so trying to relax.

thinking about dinner....barbecued ribs, roasted dill potatoes on grill, corn on the cob...pumpkin spice muffins--------maybe raspberry, peach crisp w/ice cream..

Half listening to the news. Ate an awesome salad not sure I have room now for the steak that is slow grilling. Unwinding from my day. Realizing you really do bring about what you think about. Sometimes it just takes longer than you want it to. haha

At my house, watching television. I am not feeling my best today. I tried to meditate, tried to play with my dogs, etc... Nothing helped.

I just got done buying a ticket to see an Evening with Cake!! I have wanted to see them for the longest. I am working on trying to do things by myself versus with a group of friends. If this goes well I am going to go see Elvis Costello at the same venue in July!!

Thank you :) After an early start and busy day of inspecting buildings, rooms, grant compliance, mission statements, and client files we left with just two small simple suggestions for improvement and gold stars everywhere else. Huzzah!

We could end up with violations which could end up with loss of grand funding which could end up with loss of programs and jobs. Thankfully we're on our A game.
