I need for my shin to quit hissing at me. :(
I called BlueCross/BlueShield. They helped me find another wound care specialist ... one who has incorporated pain management into his program. I cannot believe I allowed that jackass (previous doctor) to dig out, scrape this hole in my shin without some strong painkillers. Then allow him to send me home with nothing for the guaranteed 2 to 3 days pain after he does that. There is nothing admirable in letting him have at it multiple times knowing what would happen to me in the office and continue a few days later. Plain stupid! My first appointment with this new doc is this upcoming Thursday. I mean I really interrogated two of his nurses about pain. I feel confident the new doc won't let me suffer so needlessly. |

At the present time, all my needs are met. Finished mowing the lawn about 5:30 and fed the my canine babies. Took a shower, then ate two tomato sandwiches, one cheese sandwich with kosher dill sammich slices, two fresh full ears of corn on the cob I nuked ... all with three large milks. I am in my jammies, have my thickest socks on turned inside out with soft house shoes. I laid out sunscreen this morning ... remembered to use it around 4:30. :( Needless to say my face and ahoulders are red but will be tan by morning.
Wait, there is one thing I need ... Roy Scheider's one liner from Jaws movie popped into my mind. Remember when he said, "we need a bigger boat." Well I could really use a riding lawnmower or a smaller area to mow. It is okay for now - I can make it. :) |
