Telling an old friend about an abandoned house I explored. I laughed until my sides hurt. I was telling her about how I could see the sky through the holes in the roof. For some reason it just struck me as funny.

Morning coffee.
Evening phone conversation. The laid back atmosphere at work. Knowing the ParentalUnit's test results came back and everything is fine. Knowing the ParentalUnit is staying on top of his diabetes, especially with the life changes we have gone through in the last 10 months. My brother and ParentalUnit are taking a road trip to Tennessee for the long holiday weekend my only wish is that I could join them. MCC Life is good! |

the news that the home town boy didn't get cut from the Eagles today!
and he got 61 yards in the preseason game last week, I don't remember how many catches he got though. I think he needed to be playing with a coach that really got him and had faith in him. Chip Kelly brings it out in him. I look forward to watching him get more playing time. watching soul food cooking with my daughter and both of us going eeww at the same time :blink: |

I went to Trader Joe's before I went to meet my mom to finish a cleaning job. I found some grapes that are a hybrid of Concord and Thompson grapes.
I knew how much she lovesss Concord grapes so I got us some... When I met up with her I told her I got her some grapes...she turned to walk away saying "no thanks''...I pulled them out of the bag and told her what kind they were.....she stopped mid step and couldn't get some fast enough! :) My mama spent her life making sure we got what we wanted and needed. It makes me endlessly happy to do that for her on occasion. Even if it's something as small as grapes.... <3 |
about half way through my shift at work i was walking down the aisle and looked up to see my best friend, his wife and their 2 children. Evie was so excited to see me and show me how many teeth she had lost. It really made my day.
