Same salad type but a new company. Avocado Ranch salad. Half of my usual portion. This one has better dressing but it has far too much cilantro in it. Blech. Water to drink.

Last night, dinner was very light due to a heavy lunch so it was a 100 calorie bag of butter flavored popcorn and a Halo with water to drink.

Dinner was a taco using Jackfruit as a meat substitute. It didn't have much flavor on it's own but it was fine with all the fixins. I had an Ortega flour tortilla with sour cream, shredded cheese, a sliced yellow tomato, dots of black bean and jalapeno hummus, shredded lettuce, a few dots of a chipotle sauce and, of course, the Tex-Mex jackfruit. I rolled it up and dipped it into a little puddle of Taco Bell Mild taco sauce. No sugar in it! I had a Halo for dessert and water to drink.

Doctored up Red Baron frozen pizza. Side salad. Quad shot expresso. Some sort of some dessert something I can grab at the coffee shop. Probably cookies but maybe a pastry depending oon what's there to tempt me.

I had nearly the same dinner as last night only this time I also had a Greek flatbread too. So, here's my thoughts on the dill pickle salad...the salad part is fine...regular bagged salad....but the dressing contains tiny pieces of dill pickle in it so it reminded me, texture-wise, of a thin tartar sauce. The taste was okay though. Not in your face but there like a mild relish ranch flavor. It comes with a bag of brioche croutons, which is where the added sugar in it comes from.
I try to keep my added sugars as close to zero as possible but I really wanted to try this salad so it got it. To cut down on the sugar, I just didn't use all of the bagged croutons. As a side note, even if you use a strong mouthwash and drink lots of water, you might still be tasting the dressing later. |
All-organic apple-pecan cobbler. We got a big variety of apples in a CSA box.

I had a burger with a Mediterranean chickpea patty, avocado oil mayo, pickles and an Artesano bun. With that, I had some vinegar dipped sliced beets and a couple of Halos with water to drink.

Salt and pepper wings with dill pickle salad. Got the Taylor Farms brand of dill pickle salad and it was really good. So were the wings.

Welcome! I like weird foods and I like pickles so it made sense to try it.
Last night, I had a bacon Caesar salad with 3 giant Halos and water to drink. Not sure what was up with me but I apparently needed a lot of vitamin C. |
enjoying small bites of pear salad w follow your heart mozz...it's not gorgonzola but it's good in a different way..kittens are not a fan..it's:cold:

I had half of a bagged salad (Caesar...no bacon in this one), 2 Halos, water to drink and probiotic prunes for dessert. Prunes get a bad rap. They are squishy and smell like raisins. What's not to love about that?

Pizza!
Not that I'm ever sad about having pizza, but dinner was going to be broccoli slaw, baba ghanoush and lemon jello and fruit salad. Unfortunately, my system has revolted against me, and I can't eat any more raw or fibrous foods for a few days. I know that my system will accept pizza, any time, any place! (But that baba sure was delicious.) |
I had the other half of the Caesar salad from last night plus two giant Halos, 1 Greek flatbread for the extra salad dressing, water to drink and then I nibbled on some tuna fish. Yeah, I don't know why either. Straight up too. No mayo or relish or anything. That's weird, even for me.
