Excited...

A local assisted living company is partnering with the local college to give paid training for a CNA license to new hires. The program enables you to work for the company while you get your CNA training.

I've done the course previously, but in order to apply to nursing school here ,I NEED to complete the NC CNA course. Just another hoop. But if I get hired, it will be one less hoop...and I don't have to worry about how to fit work and school into my schedule. This...could be awesome. I just pray I get it...

I always find myself feeling a little heavy-hearted this time of the year. My next to the youngest brother, J.W. passed out of this world 6 years ago yesterday. It still seems unreal that he is gone. He was 46 years old.

Great! I had a wonderful birthday yesterday :)))

I received beautiful earrings from my babe! She surprised me at work with roses :) she took me to get a pedicure and then we went out to eat at our favorite place and got cupcakes from Babycakes. My staff also surprised me with flowers and cupcakes. It was a great day!!

I am feeling better and I even let it all go this time, I know it was the only thing I could do. Being very busy helps too

Awesome, excellent even! I took my recertification exam today and aced it,

I feel totally wiped out. Today I had a Doctors appointment that nearly wiped me out of energy, his office is up on the second floor and the elevator is waaayyy in the back of the lobby. On crutches with an already sore back and throbbing knee I managed to get it done. I have another appointment tomorrow I hope I feel better than I do now, at least it's right inside the door not in the back forty, I do need to make the appointment so I have to buck up no matter what.

Pleasantly exhausted....

A good uphill hike will do that..

I feel good and I'm off work today!!!!:jester::jester: Gonna enjoy the day with my spouse even tho it's a tad bit cold outside....... Was going to take her to the boardwalk but I think we will wait till a warmer day.

I am feeling reflective and anxious. As I come in and out of the site, I am working on a paper due tonight. That explains the anxious part. Reflective because today is my three year wedding anniversary with Julie. We met about 8 years ago and got married three years ago today. Right before I had open heart surgery. Time seems to move quicker the older I get.
