Very stylish and very classy. I haven't paid much attention to the hoopla surrounding the wedding thus far but I did watch some of it and liked a lot of their personal touches. The monarchy is changing and it's a good thing, I think. Right now, I'm watching Lucky Dog while posting. |

Relaxing after a really big, productive, fulfilling day. Watching this tiny 5 pound puppy act like a crazy dog as she plays hard and hogs my bed. Ending my day with a big smile and warm heart. My "tank" was filled after making my 80 something year old dear friend very happy with a truck load of beautiful tomato plants.

Been checking on the wellbeing of the 3 eaglets in the wild nest outside of the eagle sanctuary at Dollywood. The nest has been a problem this year due to a steady flow of man made crap arriving with the fish for the youngsters i.e. fishing line, hooks, and a piece of aluminum siding. Two prior rescues were needed to remove the debris and one eaglet was removed after it swallowed a hook. That was removed successfully and it was returned to the nest. Despite efforts to clean up the areas where the parents are fishing, the problem continued. A couple of days ago, the decision was made to remove all three eaglets from the nest to ensure their safety and survival. They were moved to the hack tower, a simulated, enclosed nesting area where they will be watched, fed, and cared for until they are ready to fledge. |
Just got back home. Put some things in the fridge. Now I am chewing on a slim jim and drinking a soda. Wondering what I should do next.

Yanking invasive shrubs out by the roots with my truck.
Gardening and cleaning up after storms. Mowing the first pasture. Communicating with my electrician. Several trips with the mower/wagon from house to garden. Made PVC hoops for my raised garden beds. One trip to hardware store for tomato stakes and c-clamps. Fed goats, cats, dogs. Opened my mail which was all medical bills :readfineprint: Took shower... Now there's time to play on BFP. |

Trying to talk myself into going grocery shopping and doing chores. I tell myself that I’ll have regrets come mid-week if I make the wrong decision.
Yeah, as tired as I am I could go through this routine for hours. And of course by that time I could have food in the cupboards and mopped floors. |
Creating my shopping list for grocery needs, crafting supplies, and deciding if I can make it through another hot summer without having to purchase an LED a/c cooling system..... I would rather not spend a huge hunk of change on having to buy something like this, but if I have to, I will.

A mini heat wave has hit Western Pa. 93 today and 95 tomorrow. That is MUCH hotter than our usual low to mid 80's summer temperature.
Adding insult to injury, the relative humidity is also super high. So is the grass and tree pollen invaders. :blink: SO, I have no place I need to be and therefore, I will not be leaving the house until Tuesday.(hiding out in the a/c) |
