Well! Let me just TELL You!
I was watching the news and weather this morning, and our Weather Cowboy tells us that all indications (not just HIS but the National Weather Do~dads, too!) say we WILL have snow on Friday morning...to the tune of 2-4 INCHES!!!!:cold::cheer::penguin::snowman::santa1: OMG!!! I'm beside myself!!! So I went to the store and bought cocoa, chili and soup! Then the SECOND thing that brought me joy....LOOKIE > > > HERE < < < I'm so excited!!! I know, RIGHT!?!?!? |

Finding out that my employer offers domestic partner benefits! :happyjump:
Now I can rest assured that Timber will have insurance on January 1st, and it can continue until shi has insurance with hir own employer. They've already confirmed that I can drop hir from my plan as soon as I have proof of hir other coverage. I am finding that it's a very good thing to work in a women's health environment. And, it's further proof that it was best for me to ask for the counter offer and stay in Houston, rather than to take the offer that was made in Dallas. WT |
