I found joy in THINGS today. Doughnuts, filling in my brand spankin' new address and scheduling book, holiday cards, getting called into work today (OT, baby!), and remembering my seasoning so I can micro-steam my veggies tonight. :tease:

That my synagogue will be hosting a transgender inclusion evening to educate our congregants about transgendered people and how Judaism views it! Also looking forward to spending the evening with my love.

I was joyous that this is the last day of this year...
I felt a sense of relief when i walked out of the office this evening knowing that I had small part in the past year to help 60 people I serve with disabilities. I pray that each day I can help them enrich their lives, support them in their struggles and help them reach their potential.

I got my vacation requests back last night at work.
I knew I took a day off just about every week the first 3 months of the year so I would not have to drive so much this winter. But apparently, in July, when I put the requests in, I decided to take 5 days off in Feb, which means 9 days off in the dead of winter. I am so EXCITED I also got super bowl weekend off!!!!!! When brings me joy 9 days off in less than a month!!! we will not focus on the fact that I don't remember doing this |
