Reminds me when students had walk-outs and sit-ins on campuses to encourage universities to disinvest/divest in South Africa because of apartheid.

just finished dinner ... today was the last day of MVC CORE training ... I put a corner fence post in the ground before daylight this morning ... buried the end deeper since it is a corner - went generous with the concrete. Checked it when I got home tonight. It is perfect as well as solid. Makes me happy! :)

Watching local news, wanting a big thick juicy steak, washing my favorite tshirt and deciding what to do today.

Working at home today on a giant client presentation.

While I am downloading reports for said presentation, I will be offloading old data from my almost-dead MacBook Pro and simmering some delicious soup for later tonight.

Posting on threads and drinking a glass of ice tea.

Using the Planet as a distraction when I should be studying. :(

Powering through some homework so I can go back to gaming. Plan to get the majority done to justify a movie date tomorrow with my boo, with just a tiny bit of homework to wrap up afterwards.

Putting the number crunching aside, forcing myself to stop obsessing. It'll all work out, especially if I give it a rest and sleep on it. Going to bed.

drinking coffee that has reached Luke warm temp. Getting myself situated and as pain free as possible because I need new shoes and we are going shoe shopping later. Not big on shopping but it seems anytime I order shoes online they never fit right so I have to go try them on.

Trying to decide what to do today. I miss mom alot today.

I`m watching it become dusk, listening to the evensong of the birds, watching my kitties sleep and savouring the quietness of the house.

I'm taking an break right now.

Earlier I sorted through more stuff in my son's bedroom and boxed up things of his that I can bear to part with. I had an neighbor come over to take three large bags of his things to the trash bins.

I gave away an glass dinner service set and a few kitchen things, to another neighbor in need.

I packed up my fall and winter wardrobe and gave away numerous articles of clothing to another neighbor.

After my break, I'll need to check on the squash baking in the oven.

Waiting on the polish on my toe nails to dry. THEN, I'm going to lay down. I woke up at 1 a.m. and have been up since. CRAZY!

I just finished answering work emails now I am getting ready to take my silky out.

waiting for the dogs to finish their dinners so we can all go out ... it came a wild thunderstorm about the time I got home and they are still acting a little frightened ... the storm did not last long ... it is much cooler out now and the sun is flirting through the trees
