I have not checked but came home from work and put on my thin cotton plaid pajama bottoms and short sleeved tshirt. Wrong! Not long before I was in thick sweatpants, long sleeved thermal shirt and heavy duty socks. And I am still cold ... down deep in my bones type of cold. I'm looking at a great big warm buddy named Kevie on the bed now. He loves to snuggle and there is my warmth when I fall asleep tonight. :) What a sweet boy! :)

38 degrees and getting cloudy

Not happy that we are getting 10:cold::cold::cold::cold: more inches of snow tomorrrow with sub freezing temps.

Looks like it's going to storm all day here and turn cold later this afternoon. Eventually calling for a 1/2 inch of sleet and snow later tonight!

It's raining like mad outside right now, since early early this morning. The temp has dropped and the wind has really picked up. We are expecting sleet and wintery mix with icing and touches of snow. The temp. is expected to plummet 50 degrees today, it's already dropped by atleast 15 or more. Tonight it will be freezing again. UGH, when is Spring Going to get here?? I'm ready already.

I have to say enough already with the snow and ice. I am still fighting mountains of snow that has hardened into ice. Still there is snow here from 5 weeks ago when we were hit with a storm. No ice chippers to be found and shovels are even rare to purchase. It has been difficult to get warm with all this precip gathered in piles and piles. At work we are still hiking over the mounds which have all turned into ice through and through, to get into and out of the vehicles. I work with older differently abled adults who view the piles and piles as obstructions for their movement safely and don't want to venture out. I can't say as I blame em.....c'mon Mother Nature.....can we get a glimps of what we look forward to?? This has already been brutal for so many....... :(

Right now it's 29F and snowing....the wind is high and blowing the snow sideways. It feels like 19 outside. It's going to ice over and I'm glad I don't live in Dallas and have to commute anywhere. HEE HEE
I am staying in and off the roads cause these drivers down here just think it's alright to drive 90 in sleet, ice, and rain.

It's not over yet is it Old Man Winter?!!

PS. You wouldn't know it but just Friday it was like 75F outside and sunshine.

Eta: I think next year, I'm gonna capture that critter that sees his shadow causing more weeks of winter. Just sayin......

I'm about am hour and a half down the road from Tex,so for it's in the low 50's cloudy with slight rain,but I know it's headed my way.I just hope it's gone past by Tuesday morning as I have an appointment to get my back injected after they find out what's wrong with my knee since I have been hobbling around on it for close to three weeks without any improvement.

Tex,point that critter out to my jack russel,I promiss you she will take care of it just fine in a flash.

Just how much snow is there up in the entire universe??? By now I'd have though every damned flake from here to the far end of the Milky Way had been dumped out.

Major thunderstorms here and it's raining ICE !! I mean that shit is falling outta the sky like no tomorrow! I left for a 15 min drive to go get a pizza and I"ll be damned if the shit didn't hit the fan on the way back with ICE! ICE ALL OVER THE FREAKING ROAD, I SLID driving 10 miles an hour going up a tiny hill. I"ve never in my lifetime seen this much ICE soo fast and furious. It has lightening and thunderstorm raining ICE dammit.
GET Ready Rockin buddy, it's coming your way fast and furious. IT's iced over outside more than an inch thick in my driveway in a matter of 30 mins. and it's still coming down outside. The road I was driving on has just as much ice on it as I was driving in it. My damn windshield wipers iced over while using them with the heat on full blast!! I am soo not getting back out in this shit.

Old Man Winter, I soo wanna kick yer ass !

PS : And I'm sending that damn critter over to Rockin's Jack Russell. LOL
