Veggies from my garden....

All of my veggies are coming up strong this year. Dinner consisted of Kale, Swiss Chard from the garden. I added tofu, rice and eggs from my hens to make a stir fry from heaven! YUMMY!

Last night it was mixed veggies and steak crumbles (hamburger I seasoned with my usual steak spices and a chipotle bbq sauce) with some more bbq sauce cuz it's da bomb. Watermelon for dessert followed by another dessert of strawberry angel food cake with a scoop of cherry vanilla ice cream.

I decided to be brave and try something that I haven't tried in a while. Maybe my taste buds changed enough to tolerate it.

NOPE.

Brussel sprouts still suck and they still look like vegetable testicles.

I even tried them with cheese and bacon. That combination has never let me down before.

Until now.

Blech!

The last of the steak crumbles and two bites of the brussel sprouts and my appetite was gone.

Fry Daddy came out to play tonight.

Wanted beer batter, but alas, all beer has been consumed. Lol. Made batter with Bisquick and milk, added redwood rub. Was tasty with chicken.

Used a fancy vegetable slicer, made waffle cut potatoes.

Not bad for a Championship Basketball Game!
