Im babysitting three kids today, a nine and seven year old girl and a three year old boy. The boy is convinced there are two of me because he saw me going into the kitchen but cant remember seeing me go out.

He is now in the kitchen looking for second me. This is so cute:p

Waking to a world of ice. I am amazed at the wonders of Mother Nature. My palm tree didn't look so good, but I bet the visual of it will last a long time. The palm fronds heavy with sparkly ice. The new car was bathed in ice as well. Small icicles forming off the hood. This might be the norm for most of the country, but I found joy in the once in a while sights.

Even the drive to work, icicles on the phone lines. Such a sight!

I smile because I'm awesome; that's why! lol
 

I stopped at DD at break time and asked for one of those chocolate chip banana muffins and a cup of coffee. The muffins were freshly made and the chocolate syrup on top hadn't hardened yet. When I strolled back into work (with a huge smile on my face - what else? lol), I wondered why I was getting the most peculiar looks from everyone I passed.

When I got into the locker room and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, it immediately became clear...

I was wearing the evidence allllll over my face! It was fabulous. It was worth it. And it made me laugh so hard! It was actually a nice way to restart my workday because I don't take myself super seriously that way.

And thank goodness for that because I'm always embarrassing the crap outta myself somehow. Someday, I would like to be afforded just a speck of dignity. Doesn't look like it's in the cards, though, so thankfully I was gifted an easy sense of humor instead.

I spent the day helping my brother who happens to be one of my very best friends move into his new house that is much closer to me. The kids were a huge help without one complaint. Not sure I could have asked for more.

Spent my morning with my kids at Disneyland and now I'm getting my hair touched up..... happy day!
