Taco Bell burrito

I was feeling a little deprived that I couldn't be at my fam's Christmas to-do, so I ordered take-out:
- Turkey and dressing with gravy
- Congealed salad with whipped cream
- Eggplant casserole
- Sweet potato soufflé
- A Parker House roll

Pasta Alfredo (with heavy cream canna butter sauce)
 

Homemade pasta in a creamy sauce with Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked pepper, with bits of red pepper and grilled chicken breast.

Water to drink and Hot Cocoa for dessert.

Homemade beef and bean soup. Daughter in laws are wonderful!

Me too! Hot cocoa is the best at this time of year.

For dinner I'm having Mongolian Beef and steamed rice.

Last night was a mushroom/swiss cheese burger with fries from Chili's. It was delicious.

last nite I made beef and cheese enchiladas in red sauce and tonite pierogi with smoked sausage :coffee:

I had honey glazed duck and some dimsum and for later on I made a fancy snack plate so my mother could have something different for New Year's and bought watermelon wine and added 7up, ice and a cherry. She was all excited about fancy snack plate....

- Philly Cheese Steak
- French fries (shared with Brittany)
- Cosmic Crisp apple (also shared with Brittany)

- Chili and Town House crackers
- A banana, which I shared with Brittany (OK, honestly, she ate the whole thing. I hate bananas.)
- Chocolate ice cream

Leftovers. Black-eye peas, collards, maybe some rice with bits of bacon.

What I really want is a mushroom burger with a Heinken 0.0 but I'll save that for another day.

I made a chicken pot pie with potatoes, green peas and cremini mushrooms.
Also, a Honey Crisp apple shared with Brittany.

Serving of doctored up Prego Spaghetti Sauce -
1 part Italian sausage and garlic
1 part no added sugar

With a left over little bit of each -
purple onion
sliced mushrooms
diced red bell pepper
ground hamburger
tomato sauce
diced tomato and
extra spices/seasonings so as to not waste and make the sauce stretch a bit further.

This over Barilla gluten-free spaghetti. On the side black olives and broccoli florets. For dessert sliced canned pears with a sprinkle of cinnamon and lime flavored caffeinated sparkling water to drink.

We cook sometimes but I think tonight we will just go visit a fav diner-type food-cart place and invest in keeping a small business afloat.

Mexican cuisine + a glass of draft beer and wedges of lime.

I was too tired for an actual dinner. I had:
- canned biscuits from this morning, warmed up in the microwave

- Fontina stuffed chicken breast with fig sauce
- Braised zucchini
- Roasted potatoes with rosemary
- Walnut brownie

- House lo mein (or as my Chinese restaurant calls it, "spaguetty")
- Egg rolls
- Pot stickers
- Egg drop soup (Brittany enjoyed the last droplets on top of her dog food)
- Mongolian beef
- steamed rice

Followed by a cup of hot cocoa, which I guess does not go with Chinese food, but who cares? It is delicious nonetheless.
