Got up somewhat early

Went to the bank

Filled my gas tank

Tried to pay my car insurance but they were strangely away

Got a topo map for a place I've been wanting to hike for years

Got groceries...found currants! I've not had any in years!!

Got my first speeding ticket :(

Went home after that and..

Took in wash, folded it and put most away

Vacuumed the entire house except the bedrooms

Mopped the kitchen, entry and bathroom

Made lunch

Did dishes

Cleaned the counters, sink and stove top

Put down the clean rug on the nice, clean floor :)

Went for a good uphill hike

Got stuff to make bread

Tonight I want to give the dogs baths and finish painting my kitchen ceiling. Mostly so I can get rid of the big clunky ladder that is currently invading My kitchen...

I drove four hours to the coast then went out with project partner's two different site visits by boat and drove four hours home. It was a 12.5 hour day and the projects looked great.

Post office, consignment shop, donations to the shelter, insane workload, studying for school, and then rewarded myself with a luxurious rose bath and a face mask.

Ahhh!

Gemme 10-04-2016 09:34 AM

So far, I got myself to the gym and had a good, hard workout. Ran a couple of errands, came home, made and ate a spectacular breakfast and I caught up with a couple of DVR'd shows while the breakfast was being made. Now, I'm off to finish getting ready and to go about my day.

Toodles!

femmeandstrong 10-04-2016 12:16 PM

Bought a porcelain butterdish... since I killed the plastic one in microwave ... lol

Martina 10-04-2016 01:41 PM

Paid bill
Rescheduled two appts
Grocery shopped

Will cook dinner

Not too much. My right knee is acting up

Medusa 10-04-2016 06:04 PM

Oil change! Eyebrows threaded! Pedicure! Post office again!

Now to get Bella a bath, work on a paper for school, get a proposal written for work, giggle all night, and drink tons of coffee. <3

Lecheloco 10-05-2016 11:29 AM

Got up and started cleaning, got the whole house dusted and all the weekly stuff done plus scrubbed the 3 bathrooms
Then 2 loads of laundry washed and put away
Then off to the grocery store
Back home called my employee with what I expected done before tomorrow, and congrats on her score, got last night's numbers and explanations
Logged into the back office applications and responded to all the feedback
Then mowed the grass, now all I have left is to cook steaks and roasted veggies tonight

clay 10-05-2016 11:39 AM

Made bed

Fed & pottied Hope...she is such a cutie pie!

Made myself my protein shake

Made a grocery run. I do NOT anticipate any bad weather from Matthew, HOWEVER, these storms can be unpredictable sometimes, and we may get some of the outer bands of squalls & rains, so I want to be prepared in case. So I did get a case of water, some deli meats, and some fresh fruits....love "finger foods".

Watching some shows I DVR'ed last evening!

Just relaxing, reading forums...

Will do some more crafting this evening & finish them up in next day or so...:)

I was out the door at 6:30 am, on the boat at 8:30 am, and back to the hotel by 1:30 pm to join my sweetheart. We had lunch and made the four hour drive home. It was a twelve hour day but what a lovely business trip with my lady.

P.S...I also walked about 12 miles today...photographer's hazard lol

WingsOnFire 10-13-2016 10:38 PM

I managed to work 4 hours after waking up with a nasty head cold. I forced the dogs out at least twice in the rain. Im sure I will be woken up at mid night.

JDeere 10-13-2016 10:56 PM

Finished laundry this morning before work, worked my 8 hours and then cleaned up my room.

easygoingfemme 10-18-2016 08:21 AM

Finally wrapped up an audit of my 2015 state tax return. After months of faxing in documents and getting mail saying that it's never enough I had an official meeting with the tax people who said, ok, you're legit and everything is in order and everything you submitted was fine, you're good to go. Crazy making - the whole thing- including the mail I got about the appointment with them today that gave me GPS coordinates rather than a street address, no visitor parking at the building, signs everywhere that you'll be towed, on and on. I asked them at the meeting if they intentionally made this insanely difficult for people so that they won't fight the denials and surrender their tax returns. They didn't answer me. Whatever, I fought through it and came out on top.

Kätzchen 11-06-2016 04:30 PM

I pretty much did as little as possible: But I managed to do a few chores around the house, the laundry is dried, folded and put away. I colored in my coloring book, for awhile. I send the pretty pictures to my eldest son, kind of like a home made card with a few interesting things to share about life, here at home.

Now that I'm pretty much caught up with chores, I'm going to sit tight here and read posts, then probably retire to the kitchen and see about making something to eat for supper.

I ate all of my chocolate, too. :)

Kätzchen 11-21-2016 03:32 PM

I teamed up with staff at my nursing facility to submit invoices to my worker comp team, so providers of certain services will be paid fully for services.

Put my six-figure student loan debt in another round of year long deferment status.

Had an amazing session with the PT team, earlier today. I've been working on climbing up and depending stairs. Was terribly tired after my session, but so proud of my progress.

Really grateful for my team at work..... my boss and his wife dropped by to visit me earlier, meet the staff here, and gave me a card signed off by everyone at work (including a couple of interlopers from other agencies in our building). I gave them a brief tour of the facility... so my extra walking today counts toward my therapeutic goals of recovery.

I figured out what was wrong with the riding lawn mower.
It was the gaskets in the carborator bowl where the float is. The gaskets were worn out causing the fuel to leak out starving the carborator of fuel. On Friday I will go to the hardware store for parts and have the mower up and running soon.

Since the riding mower was down I mowed two acres with a push mower and trimmed the weeds around the house.

Now I will start prepping the turkey and sides for T-day.

I still need to tidy the house.

What did I do today?

I went shopping for groceries for thanksgiving....Not my favorite think to do, grocery shopping....

I have a 94 yr old mom and my sister was born slow... I will be cooking for them, they both live with me and I'm grateful that I can be there for them....

I did manage to leave the house for a quick trip to the pharmacy for a script refill and toilet paper. Lol!

easygoingfemme 11-23-2016 05:49 PM

It was a blissfully low accomplishment day.

Got up early and shuffled paperwork/ checked off a small to-do list.
Met with a client.
Took my daughter out shopping for make up she wanted.
Took a power nap.
Cooked some food for tomorrow.
Had some good talks with wonderful friends.
Hopefully figured out the right move to get an ex to leave me alone.
Laundry.
About to go move exercise equipment out of storage and back around the house so it can get back to use.

Rockinonahigh 11-23-2016 05:58 PM

I went to the Doctor to have my knee checked out for three and a half month old baby knee is doing just fine. Then I came home to put a large donation box up for the shelter to pick up. Took a nap...that is all.

Soft*Silver 11-23-2016 09:46 PM

I cant ride my horse much due to my disability but she still needs exercise so every other day if I cant ride, I lunge her. Today was a lunging day. I dont know who was more out of breath...me or her. Both out of shape! LOL.

Went to visit the grand child and played blocks with her. Until I have surgery to correct my hips, I cant sit on the floor..broke my heart when she asked me to sit with her on the floor. I was still able to play blocks from the couch tho

JDeere 11-23-2016 11:03 PM

Not a thing but lay around and be lazy.

Orema 11-24-2016 07:58 AM

The turkey is in the oven in grandmother's roaster. I hope it turns out well.

Gemme 11-24-2016 11:01 AM

I slept late, made my bed, worked on a craft project, went to the gym and ate my Turkey Day brunch.

What did I accomplish today?

dinner:badcook:

introverted1 11-24-2016 04:30 PM

I woke up at my usual ridiculously early time, but made myself stay in bed and eventually fell back asleep...until my best friend's cats began beating on my door to feed them (I'm cat sitting while friend and her wife are vacationing)! I got up, fed dem katz, foraged out in the world for coffee (forgot that friends do not have a coffee maker), had breakfast, went for a hike and made my Thanksgiving dinner.

BullDog 11-27-2016 09:15 PM

I ended up mowing my entire lawn - front and back (1/2 acre) - kinda by accident. I really was just trying to drain the gas (my idea of "winterizing") but the mower kept going and going. I really didn't think much gas was in it. I fought all summer with that damn mower to stay on for like 5 minutes at a time. Well, it doesn't hurt, lol.

Also, laundry, writing and other biz work, misc. chores.

candy_coated_bitch 11-27-2016 09:22 PM

Not a damn thing.

easygoingfemme 11-27-2016 09:48 PM

I went grocery shopping.
Made Lentil soup, empanadas, and roasted beets.
Raked the lawn and finished putting summer things into the garage for the winter.
Laundry washed dried and folded
Thwarted some attempted arguments
Drove my kid around
Helped said kid with her resume
Emailed with my mom
Read my book club book, but not enough of it
Exercised

Rockinonahigh 11-27-2016 10:49 PM

I did another exercise session to stretch my left leg ad knee, then did some all around things that just burned time
Then after a while I touched base with an old friend, we had a nice chat then decided to stay in touch.

cinnamongrrl 12-04-2016 05:53 PM

rainy day fun

Slept in late...for me that IS an accomplishment...

Made myself a nice breakfast...pumpkin pancakes..

Did dishes

Cleaned counters, sink and stove

Learned to make crochet flowers which included a new (to me) stitch

Tried a new (Amish) bread recipe...and it came out AWESOME

Painted my kitchen backsplash...have to do something with it until I decide what all else I'm gonna do with it...

Deep cleaned as I went along the backsplash...

Reorganized and decorated the kitchen a bit more

Took down cobwebs and rehomed spiders so I could paint the hall ceiling...looks gooder already!

Dried laundry on the rack inside since it rained all day..

Put laundry away and organized my bedroom a bit better

I drove four hours to attend a meeting and conduct a site visit by boat. I then drove four hours home, I ate a burger while driving 75 miles per hour down the highway. It was a 14 day.

I came home to winterize my house in the dark because it is going to freeze in my area this week.

Is it Friday yet?

RockOn 12-06-2016 09:01 PM

kept my mouth shut ... this accomplished ---- >>> still having a job to go to in the morning. ;)

Medusa 12-08-2016 09:36 AM

So far I have accomplished maintaining my gratitude for my job even though I work with a couple of extremely inconsiderate, extremely entitled people who really have no business in a white-collar environment.

But I'm not bitter. :P
