Taking a break at work. It's my California besties birthday this week and I'm wrapping a couple gifts I got for her. She's sweet, fun, and just an all around good person.

Checking emails, still looking for full time employment (work part time now), it is so damn cutthroat here. Maybe, I need to find something to lift My mood and not add to the current one. bah.

Painting. Basically posting as I wait for different things to dry. TV on in the background.

Helping Mary go through her junk, oh I mean prized possessions, until her company gets here from their errands!

Listening to my Jedi's music and just being in her company.

On the phone with My babygirl, thinking how early I woke up this morning and forcing Myself to stay out of the bed, making plans for next month. Also, thinking even cold Dunkin- is good Dunkin.

watching the Kavanaugh trial ~ I was hoping to see a fair investigated process for a very sensitive subject .

Listening to more General Assembly speak. I'm determined to get through all of it.

I just binged My way through the last few episodes of OITNB. (Some people found this season disappointing. I, however did not)... and thinking about making a big change very soon.

Thinking about my ex husband. We were married for 22 years and together for 25. He died last year and today would have been his birthday. We weren’t friends but we were friendly and I would have called him today to wish him well.

Binge-watching the Halloween movies while cake and brownies bake. Got up bright and early to call my mom to wish her happy birthday and do the dishes.

Going to get some cereal shortly and take the dog out.

Watching 'House on Willow Street' on Netflix
Pinging the Daddy on FB messenger since he's in the living room watching his TV shows
Reviewing our budget to see where next month's funds (a.k.a. money left after bills are paid) are going - when you're saving for multiple things, Excel is a must (in conjunction with the envelopes)!

Being bored to death by coursework I

Chillin and enjoying the peace, the quite, the stillness in the house. Have been under the weather these past few weeks and finally starting to feel better. :koolaid:



P.S. And listening to the ruckus outside the house... cars... trucks... motorcycles. Everyone in rush to get somewhere.

Just got in from shopping, and now back to the side table I'm refinishing. It's national cat day, so I got my twins Fancy Feast shredded chicken. But they have to split one little can because they both have developed double chins.:sugarglider:

Washing clothes. Making out Amazon, Chewy, and Walmart shopping lists. Thinking about doing some vacuuming/other housework. However think about doing the work isn't the same as getting things done. So I guess mainly what I'll be doing most with the rest of today is procrastinate. I just love the way living by myself makes that possible.
