It's been raining all day long so I was looking for comfort food. I had angus hot dogs covered in chili, Mexican blend cheese and sour cream with Lay's Cheesy Garlic Bread chips.

I wasn't expecting to eat anything after my late lunch but.....
I was asked to work in the kitchen tonight at the country club. (I work there part time) We had a little bit of a lull and the cook asked me if I was hungry. At that point I WAS peckish....since I literally picked at my food over the frying pan seconds before leaving for work...lol The cook made me hot wings....they were omg good. And....there was chocolate mousse in the fridge that HAD to get used up tonight. Had to. So...I helped :D |
I had time today, so I was able to cook some real food!
Grilled mesquite chicken Grilled potatoes Grilled some onions too! Fresh steamed zucchini Then...and I might add, the kitchen smells heavenly. Carmel apple cookie pie. Well worth the apple drippings now lingering on the bottom of the oven. Lol |

Is it Thursday? lol Garlic Parmesan $.50 wings with celery & ranch dressing, sweet tea with lemon!....... :sushi: was lunch today....:). Tomorrow for lunch at a Greek restaurant. My nurses who cared for me when I had my knee replaced in March & I are meeting up! They haven't seen me walk with my new knee yet!!!! |

I make some dishes and give them their own names. Tonight it was Jacked Up Peppers.
Crab and cream cheese stuffed peppers with a tomato sauce over them. The cream cheese also has a few jalapeños mixed in for that zip. |

Tonight my sisters are making my favorites because vacation is almost over. We are having steamed little neck clans, spinach salad and stuffed artichokes...I am truly blessed to have the love of my family!
