I'm working up to leaving the house today and going for a walk along the river, but I need to change into some play clothes (an old pair of levis, a soft comfy t-shirt, grab a sweater and find my old Birkenstock sandals). No doubt I will smell differently later today but right now, I am freshly showered and smell faintly of Jasmine + Y'Lang Y'lang.

I had a cup of coffee already and even made some toast too, but should take something to eat for later today (granola mix, a couple of apple and some water). I've been listening to The Tallest Man On Earth (song: 1904) and slowly waking up to my day - which it is beautiful here today and makes me smile! Will leave the house here in a bit, after I finish with my online activities (here, fb, the bank, career websites)

Not much good news to speak of lately but the good news is that the good news will be better this week. :)

Well, that didn't last long (my plans for today).

My daughter needs me right now and the only connection I have to her is via the internet since I do not possess a 'smart' phone.

I work today so even though I'm still lounging around the house in my favorite black satin robe, waiting for my hair to dry, I will be wearing black dress pants, a black sweater and black kitten heels for work tonight.

I've only had one cup of coffee (I do want more), I've not been too hungry, but I do smell rather nice - I'm wearing a hint of Jasmine with Y'Lang Y'Lang.

I was listening to Tommy James & The Shondells earlier (and a bunch of other artists) but right now, I'm back to listening to the wind delicately making my patio chimes sing soft, mysterious melodies.

It's rather early yet today, so I haven't really got any good news to share or anything that's caused me to smile. I feel fortunate to wake to another day and see how beautiful it is outside: that's worth a smile, yes? :)

For now, I will make another cup of coffee, read a bit more here, maybe play a game or two or three of cards in the arcade, then log off and go soak up some of that gorgeous sunshine outside.

Right now I'm wearing the clothes I had on earlier this evening when I went for a walk nearby in the fields to pick berries. I just made a cup of tea and I washed some of the berries to eat and just noticed that it will take a few days for the berry stains to come off my finger tips and natural nails.

Throughout my day today, I've been listening to Ben Howard: He's an Indie Folk artist from the UK and I just totally think his songs are so beautiful - expecially the song called, "Promise." The recording of this song comes across so clearly as it streams through my ear buds that you can hear every string as it is played with a clarity that even includes hearing the artist breathe, on ocassion!

I will no doubt take a long bath soon as I want to be cleaner than I smell right now; but the fading of the field fragrance, as it melds into the trace hints of my Ysetes perfume, is probably the something good that happened in my day today. I actually got to talk with my daughter, spent time with my youngest son and got a letter today from my oldest son (that's my good news, too).

I haven't really felt like smiling today but I think I may have slowly smiled in the present moment of now, due to remembering the little notes I got throughout my day, from friends and family, here and there.

I guess that's it for now.
