I made grilled cheese sandwiches with homemade pickles tucked inside and dipped in pickle juice. Don't scrunch your face up; it's actually really good if you like dill pickles.

I'm boring. I have a cup of miso soup and some rye crackers for lunch everyday. When I feel daring I may break out some leftovers from the night before.

I went shopping at Aldis in my continuing effort to eat gooder (NOT saying the D word!)

I got a big huge box of turkey burgers and made one when I got home. Topped with a slice of gouda cheese. Sauteed broccoli and cauliflower (frozen) in the pan leanings. Sprinkles of seasoning and salt. Yum.

I also made sweet potato but it took forever and I'm already full so...maņana.

So, for part of our dinner I just washed three sweet potatoes and stuck them in the crock pot. Apparently, you can do this. Leave the moisture on after washing. They are supposed to be really good this way, so we'll see! Easy peasy though as long as you don't want them straight away! :)

I am not normally a fan of either grilled cheese nor pickles, but damn if your's don't sound good :hangloose:

It's more like brunch, but I still have the mid-morning cravings for grilled cheese sandwiches so I made two. One with my last slice of gouda, baby swiss and pepper jack and one with Havarti, swiss and pepper jack. I accompanied it with fresh blueberries and my ginger ale/pom juice cocktail.

It felt rather decadent and I quite enjoyed it.
