Miss PinkieLee and her Boo did!!!! Remembering the wonderful, peaceful Christmas I enjoyed and how thankful I am for certain friends. Waking up today with the feeling that my "fight and struggle" earlier this week is OVER and that I get to enjoy today, tomorrow and the weekend in peace and quiet. Waking up to a sunny day, a quiet house and 3 cuddle bugs helps with that peaceful feeling. Becoming closer friends with my first ex-gf. There's no hidden agenda, no strings attached, just friendship, yes, I am being a mentor again, but it feels cleaner, purer now. We both clearly understand that this is nothing but friendship, no matter how much her friends think we should be back together again, it won't happen, that would ruin what we do have again and I'd much prefer a friend to a lover. Friends last longer for me.

- my neighbour's dog, frodo, coming to visit.. he comes in, lays around with my cat & loves it here lol.. he's gotten so big, but such a well mannered & sweet poochie, he knows he's part of our family now, it's his second home, lol.

Getting a surprise call from my boss this morning....
She received a message from HR that my meeting with the Medical Director had worked out all the "glitches" with my health check and that she was very happy to welcome me on board. But.... the BEST part of her call was, after orientation, she has assigned me to an office that is VERY near home because she trusts me and my extensive knowledge of the Program to work independently as much as possible!! That means I don't have to drive ALL the way to Charlotte every day!! She re-arranged employee assignments so the other new girl reports to Charlotte so the boss "can focus more on her training" and sent me to the County Office so I can start working immediately with the other Coordinators. 15 minutes from home!!! And a smooooooth, easy country drive!! :happyjump::happyjump::happyjump: All that fight this week really paid off!!! |

Going to my college math class and actually understanding what the teacher was expaining. I'm hella proud of myself I have come very far in a year in a half. Its crazy how quickly life changes; i went from living in the park with a drinking problem to leaving with my wife to another state and getting an apartment and starting college wow :)

- shopping for ME today!! (& my children) we had a GREAT day out, and was fun to spoil ourselves some! & of course the laughs, and conversation was great.. - making a mini snowman in the snow tonight on three people's doorsteps LOL on my way home from work tonight.. i wish it wasn't so dark, or i would have taken a picture of their cuteness! - animal crackers, YUM! |

-Seeing how happy my little brother and his gf are and how much they love one another, makes me proud of taking a part of his growing up and becoming a decent man.
-Talking to my online Family, seeing they're happy, being able to tell them that I love them. -Being myself, flirting, enjoying life and finding peace within myself finally, what's in the past is just that, in the past, I can move on now. -Being a part of a community that welcomes me with open arms and doesn't judge me as being wrong because I'm queer and disabled, it's such a small thing, but it means so damn much, thank you to all my friends who've stood by me through thick and thin, you're all awesome people and I look forward to the day when I finally get to meet every single one of you in person. |
