Currently 43 degrees and windy in central Texas. The temperature is expected to drop into the 20's tonight. Burr!

Winter storm warnings and tsunami warnings were issued late in the day, yesterday. I am in bed, watching the pine trees dance in the wind, and watching giant snowflakes floating from the clouds. Winter snow warnings are issued for today and the next three or four days. Nobody is going anywhere if the snow stays because although Mt Marshmallow gets snow in the Cascades, it usually doesn't stay for long here. Will be lovely to see the snow blanketing our paradise in the Pacific Northwest.

NE Oh/NW Pa is starting to feel like winter. I-90 has multiple car accidents, shutting down sections of the freeway.
I have lived in upstate NY and NH so winter in Oh doesnt phase me like it use to. Just drive slow and keep an eye out for someone who has lost control of their own car. |

I had to make sure I woke up in Louisiana cause it's so cold hear like pushing 30 hear. No, no nightmare just bad cold weather that will be hear a while yet.

It's a bit chilly outside, but still nice. We'll be in the 20s today and windy. There was snow in the forecast for Sunday, but it looks like that may not happen, which is fine with me. Snow doesn't have the same draw now that I have to drive and work out in it.

I got out the electric blanket before bed tonight, my fur kids knew just what it was and took no time picking out the spot they wanted to sleep in, at least they left me enough room to sleep under. I put the top cover over the blanket so they wouldn't have any problem with the wires.

It's 20 degrees now but the wind chill is 11 degrees. It's going to warm up 10 degrees today so it will feel like 20 degrees with the sun. It's super dry outside and the static build up is crazy. Gotta watch the 'sparky' type stuff since I work next to a field.

It's been raining all night, thank goodness, and it will be here for the rest of the day. We're still in a drought (have been for years) and the rain is always welcomed.

Its a hot muggy morning, but we will pay dearly for this spot of spring next week. So we are going to do some prep for the coming week so I wont have to go out. I clipped both my fur kids cause they looked like a hairy bears with this messy hair that they were glad to be rid of so I got them some warm jackets to wear when they went out to potty...that is if they wouldn't use the doggy pads I have in the wash room instead of the cold. Everyone stay warm an safe. Happy holidays to each an d everyone.

We are headed for a high of 54* today, and it will slowly climb to a high of 72* by Wednesday.
My poor daughter will have a high of 18* today, with a dip to 4* tonight. Brrrrrrr |
It was snowing and then sleeting and then raining and now all the water on the ground froze.
Yay. I had to take off my undergarment bottoms and pants and toss them in the dryer while at lunch. I was soaked through and through. |

Temperatures down in the teens tonight in Eastern WA. Higher temps and mild/light snow during the day. In some spots watch out for black ice, particularly on the cloverleafs and over bridges. However road crews have been working hard/doing good job of keeping highways and main city streets sanded and clear.

This is insane for Kansas in December. 3 hours ago in Siberia Antarctica, at the Vostoc ice core, it was -8. Not much colder than Kansas.

ok not whining at all but it is cold as fuck here.....lol 17 last nite i live in minimum weather pac nw....we are not used to extremes.
my tenants need ALOT of coaching! like you must have heat on in all rooms so pipes dont freeze in 17 degree weather lolo and heat only in the living room and not the 2 bathrooms and bedrooms might explain why you cant get the living room to heat up quick enough....ancd the trips outside every 10 mins for both to smoke lol |

Our high today is supposed to be 81 with a low tonight of 67.

It's above freezing and windy as all get out. It'll start raining soon and will drop down to the teens tonight. Tomorrow's dry but cold, still in the teens.

After hitting a low of 5 degrees the other night (it dropped from the 9 I reported), I am happy to say it is 67 degrees and sunny and supposed to be that way tomorrow too. Doing the happy dance! Still eyeing Jesse's 81 though.

Rain and more rain!
I never get to write that. It rained on and off all day yesterday, it rained last night and the news said it will not stop until the evening today.. They also said that we will have more rain Christmas Eve. Weather-guy said the ground is soaked. Our weather consists of nice (70's); sunny most of the time; too hot (low 100's); drought, Santa Ana (asthma-level) winds, cool (40's to 50's kind of cool); very rare rain and then flooding and mudslides down the hills. I love Southern CA. :rainsing: |
We were supposed to get one inch of snow last night/this morning but so far we have gotten about 4 inches. It's still coming down. :|

The forecast high for today is 75° with a low tonight of 55°. The forecast for all of next week is in the low 80's. Thinking we will not see snow for Christmas. :byebye:
