what's on my mind?
well first of all, I am just tired of messing with plumbing that's for sure.... damn pipes are finally fixed, except a small amount of seepage on the hot water line into the shower. Gonna fix that in the morning. Then I have 3 lawns to mow tomorrow afternoon. UGH. Thank God for riding mowers, there is no way in hell my back would survive using a push mower on those large yards. I already mowed the neighbors lawn yesterday evening for her. Had to push mow that one cause it was a small yard.
My back is hurting a lot from being bent over soo much putting in new plumbing lines with my cousin's husband. UGH I have 3 herniated discs that are so aggravated right now I can't sleep.gonna be a long night. My cousin just found out their dog has bone cancer just above her knee on her right leg. Large tumor showing up now. Hope is the dogs name, she is so loving and sweet. She minds soo well too. I just have grown kind attached to her and her to me, and now she is going to have to be put to sleep cause there is nothing the vet can do for her except give her pain meds and anti-imflamation meds And I have a million gazilion thing on my mind on top of this stuff. |
Just reading Foxyshaman's post about the g/f having to put her dog down made me very sad. This brought back a lot of memories when I had to put 2 of my pets down over the course of the years. I still get choked up talking about my little loves. This is such a hard thing to do. I'm very sorry foxy... :rrose: :vigil:

1. Getting up off my ass and doing laundry.
2. Also wondering if the Toronto women's bookstore is opening back up again, since they said they were supposed to open back up in mid-June. Yet I've heard neither hide nor hair of them. I should go investigate tomorrow as I need some new reading material. |

I SWEAR TO GOD I am going to cut off my right arm from the back of my shoulder all the way down to my rib cage. I am in SO much pain. I have ice packs all over it and have the limit of my pain meds that I am allowed. I dont know what else to do. Its not just the flybitus in my arm. Its in the whole shoulder to breast bone and rib cage muscle and cartilage band. Its going to be a long night...

Five very prominent people from my home town flying from there to the Mayo clinic and the plane going down in Lake Michigan. I don't know any of them personally, but I know who they are. The doctor delivered one of my sisters and runs the local Masonic retirement home. The pilot owns a construction business and him and his wife own the local Wendy's. The co-pilot, I think, also has a local construction company. The other guy who was going to Mayo, is the school superintendent, and his wife was flying with them.
One person has been found, the other 4 are still missing, somewhere in Lake Michigan, with storms are being forecast to roll across that part of the lake. I hope they find them. |
I cant wait to get my new polo boots in the mail. :)

on my mind are missed opportunites.... and the excuses that are all too familiar anymore. wondering why I am the only one who worries that said opportunities are becoming few and far between, fading fast and being utterly taken for granted. |
how some lovely old man hit me today as i was pulling out of my parking lot at work, i was only out about 4 inches and he hit me.

So much is on my mind lately :
A friend getting ready to get pregnant with her and her gf's first child. How happy they are together... My job and the huge pay cut we just all took. And getting ready to move at the end of Oct. My brother. And how much I miss having him in my life. |

that waiting to get past every minute last night, through the pain I was on, was hard but tonight the pain level is at a manageable level and I can cope
that the person who was suppose to call my daughter about a job did not call her so now she has to wait until Monday to hear anything that my dog has been getting hungry this time of night and I have to figure out something to feed her that isnt another meal. Maybe a PB & J? that I am starting to get anxious about my upcoming surgeries that I wanted to call a long distance friend of mine but the storms kept me off my phone |
I'm finally off and relaxing. Going to watch a movie then listen to some music.

the bedroom ceiling had a leak and fell on my bed. i did'nt even see a water mark...but there were small holes in the roof where the water seeped through. weird. folks.. check your roofs regularly, you never know!:seeingstars:..
