The secretary of the interior will be in Mass. today to announce his decision on whether to allow 130 240 foot high wind turbines to be built in Nantucket Sound so we can harness wind power.
I'm thinking he wouldnt make the trip out here to say...nah we arent doing this. This saddens me because my gut tells me, messing with the ocean is only going to severely hasten the momumental erosion we are already facing. Then again, erosion would mean I will have ocean front property a lot sooner. Sigh. |
