Recalling meeting Entycing and Damon for the first time on Saturday. The good time Miss Scarlett, Entycing, Damon and I had kicking around Maggie Valley, Waynesville and Cherokee. We had some excellent food, fun shopping around the stores and just general goold ole fuckery.

Starbuck 01-17-2011 04:04 AM

My baby came over

I was blessed last night (by the time I write this) with the love of a special woman. I tell myself I am single because I don't want to get hurt but damn, she's got me all tied up in knots thinking about her all day and night.

I so enjoy her company. We can just sit and talk, cook dinner together, put dishes away, make the bed, work on laundry even...I just love spending time with her. What's amazing, is that she shared that she feels the same way and it's only getting stronger. I just keep telling myself..."SLOWLY, take it slowly so you don't mess it up!"

i am always genuinely pleased to read about other's success..
i love thread hopping, and reading about people's accomplishments, hard work - good news, and getting through situations which were quite trying for them..

it in turn, helps me plant my two feet on the ground and know, i too, can do it!

How about, instead, thinking "Slow down...so we can savor this feeling more."

- feeling proud of myself, for so many reasons.. it gets overwhelming..
- nice, long, hot, relaxing shower..
- some 'me' time to sit and read, with everything quiet around me..
- a surprise phonecall from my sweet, adorable Nanny G.
- having a small scoop of potato salad, cuz it looked so darn good..
- getting some organizing done today, before heading off to work!

A conversation with an 8 yr old boy (a family member)the other day at Wal Mart. We were discussing school and then out of the blue he asked "When kids get to third grade is that when they get periods?" Me, "Ah Nick I am not sure what you are asking?" I was not going there. He said, "thats when we have to start changing classes right?"

Nightshade 01-18-2011 09:36 AM

Some of the wonderful people I've met on BfP. Thank you for making me feel so at home and for putting up with my shenanigans.
