Well...so much for my agenda to make jam today...instead, I've taken a little detour.....the Wine tasting at Old Stone and touring " Gold Hill" has been fun!!

Just ordered a 7lb HoneyBaked Ham for my Dad. It is his favorite, and he said he wanted one for Christmas. 7lbs should last him until he is tired of ham. Can't wait to see his reaction!

Having a nice conversation (about politics no less!) with a lovely young mother at the library....you just never know where you will meet nice folks... :)

A good friend of mine lives in another state, and even though we talk on the phone and text often, we have not been able to visit in person during the last 3 years. So, today she sent me this...

I'm smiling right now because I have exactly 160 dollars left to my name until 3 January and I'm trying to get movers with a truck to transport, load, and unload 6 pieces of furniture that are way too big to pile up in my convertible, lol.

(So good to be able to take the top down on that baby!)

I just spoke to a guy who said he can do it for a buck fifty. He is going to call me back in about 45 minutes to give me a yea or nay.

Oh my goodness, I am thiiiiiiiiiiiiis close. I need ONE more Christmas miracle to make the trifecta or I just don't know what, lol.

Please keep your fingers crossed for me once again, good people! Your positive thoughts really do seem to help.

And I love me some Craigslist, too, lol.
